Provider Review
I’m 34 and I had my daughter at a young age. For 16yrs I had lived a very uncomfortable and insecure life. I felt like I was living in an older persons body. I felt ugly and insecure. Especially when I had to find dresses for special events, bathing suits, clothing that was a little tight fitting or spaghetti straps. I love the water. I love the beach. But when it came to bathing suits I was so insecure. Looking at everyone around me then myself was depressing. I work out, but no matter how much I’d do, the excess skin on my stomach was going no where. My breast were not going to back to what they once were. That’s when I knew there was only one thing to do, a Mommy Makeover. I began to do a research for a few years. Only recently did I finally narrow my search to only a handful of doctors. Last June Dr. Yarish’s office had an open house. That is when I met Dr. Yarish and his staff. Everyone was really nice and inviting. After that, that is when I decided to put Dr. Yarish at the top of my list. December is when I set up consultations. I went to Dr. Yarish’s office first. I was a bit nervous, but the way the Dr. Yarish spoke to me I felt comfortable. Aubrey was great. We got our answers questioned, we talked about the different types of implants, which size would look natural on me, which implant he recommended and what needed to be done to my tummy to achieve my goal. At the end we decided that a breast lift with implant, tummy tuck with lipo with a fat transfer to my lips (lips was just a bonus for me). My husband was with me and we both walked away feeling pleased with the outcome of the consultation. That same day I had a consultation with another doctor, which I will not mention names. I was not content with the whole consultation. His suggestion was to put in large implants instead of doing a lift, tummy tuck, lipo, lipo on legs and so on. He seemed to find so many defects on me it was very unappealing. My husband and I decided to go with Dr. Yarish. I didn’t bother going to the rest of the doctors on my list. As the pre-op appointment approached, the end of February, that’s when I was scared, nervous and excited. Jessica was awesome explaining the post-op procedures. The days were getting closer for one of the biggest changes of my life. It was completely surreal for me. My surgery was in two weeks. I later received my phone call for the surgery time. The few days before my husband and I prepped for post-op. We went out and bought pj’s and sweats, food that I’d be able to eat, made sure I had all my meds. The day finally came! I arrived on time and was not feeling nervous at all, thank god for the meds I took the night before. Everything went pretty quick. I saw Dr. Yarish right before the surgery to go over my procedures. By the time I knew it, It was done. I awoke a groggy mess in my garment. I felt sore and completely loopy. Went home right after. I had draining pipes coming out of my pelvic area with two bulbs at the attached to my garment with safety pins. Going to the restroom was a strange feeling. The next morning we went back to Dr. Yarish and Jessica showed us how to shower and take care of the wounds. I was still a bit of a groggy mess then. The following days were a bit of a blur. I was sore, my lips were swollen, and I had muscle spasms. But! I had my boobies and a flat tummy! By the 5th day I was a more sober. I went back to Dr. Yarish’s and Jessica removed some of my sutures. She told me I was healing really well and not a lot of bruising. It as nice to hear that. Right now, the main thing that is a bother me is the muscle spasms on my right breast. Gosh it hurts. I don’t wan to take the meds throughout the day because I get so drowsy. I try and deal with it with breathing exercises and at night I’ll take my meds. Dr. Yarish and his staff are appreciable. If I have questions, they are there for me.
