Although I never thought I would have plastic surgery, after having triplets at the age of 41, and after exercising for 6 years to get my pre-pregnancy body back, I finally gave in and called Dr. Schlesinger's office. For years before calling Dr. Schlesinger's office, I spent many hours doing research on having a tummy tuck procedure. I also spent lots of hours looking for the right plastic surgeon. Being a physician, I knew the importance of having a board-certified plastic surgeon. In addition, I wanted a board-certified plastic surgeon with years of experience and with numerous high-rated reviews by patients who were extremely satisfied with their results. (I have to admit, in the process of all this research, it was interesting to find that an ENT physician did tummy tucks, since this procedure has nothing to do with the ears, nose or throat.) After years of going back and forth in deciding to remove my unsightly "flapper", I called the office of Dr. S. On 11/17/2017, I had a tummy tuck with liposuction of my hips. Dr. S removed 10 inches of skin and sutured together my four inches of separated abdominal musculature that I didn't think I had because I had no limitations of my abdominal muscles after my years of working out. Now that I am 8 weeks post op and constantly admiring my new body, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Dr. S and his wonderful staff for helping me through this journey. Dr. S is absolutely amazing!! From my very first visit with him, he was very attentive with listening to what I wanted and what I expected. He then proceeded to explain all the details of what he planned to do and then answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. This initial visit took about an hour and I didn't feel rushed at all, in fact, I was trying to rush Dr. S so he could get to his other patients. From my first visit with Dr. S., I knew I made the right choice in a doctor! For days after my surgery, Dr. S. personally called me to make sure I was doing ok. Even on Thanksgiving day! Dr. S. followed me very closely following the surgery and I always felt well cared for. With all my encounters with Dr. S, I knew, without a doubt, that if anything went wrong, he would take care of it. He assured me of this many times, but of course, nothing went wrong and I have been recovering very well. I love my new body! I can't believe Dr. S was able to do what he did! He is absolutely extraordinary! In addition to his superb technical skills, he is a perfectionist and artist. He is caring and compassionate and seems to love what he does, and as a patient, you will definitely feel this. I have already recommended Dr. Schlesinger to others and will continue to do so because he is that good! Thank you Dr. S, and your amazing staff!!!
