Provider Review
I was diagnosed with cancer and as part of my treatment I received chemotherapy, which, aside from the expected nausea and hair loss, also included hyperpigmentation as a side effect. In the pursuit to keep my life as normal as possible as a person fighting cancer, I searched for a product that would fight the darkening changes of my skin. After trying a number of over the counter products, I came across a review from a woman who raved about Dr. Schlesinger's melasma cream and how it improved not only her darkened skin after pregnancy, but her self-confidence. As corny as it might sound, I thought the planets aligned and that this was a sign - the reviewer speaking directly to me and my problem with my advancing hyperpigmentation. I made an appointment to meet Dr. Schlesinger and review my situation. I have been using the cream for a little over 2 months and have seen a marked improvement. The dark spots have not yet completely gone away, but I attribute that to my ongoing chemotherapy treatment. I look forward to the end of my cancer treatment and to seeing the full effect of the melasma cream without the hinderance of the chemo drugs. Thanks to Dr. Schlesinger's melasma cream, I feel more like my pre-cancer diagnosed self (even with the hair loss), and that's very important to me.
