DR. Chu is AMAZING!! Revision from 300cc to 485cc
Dr Chu is a LIFESAVER!!! I had gotten my first BA with Shim Ching 4 years ago but i was never happy with my results as my boobs would fall to the side when I laid down, there was a lack of cleavage, and the pocket was too big for my implants. I went back and expressed my concerns but I was informed that I would never have nice cleavage due to my wide chest and wide-apart nipples. Also, I was getting pretty frustrated because dr Ching was never at any of my post op appts, didn’t offer valuable after-care advice, and didn’t take pride in his work.
Last month, I decided to get a revision and I wanted to go to dr. Ben Chu because 1) I know he does beautiful work and 2) he’s a perfectionist. To my delight, he told me that he could try his best to give me what I wanted. For starters, he told me that instead of having high profile implants, I should go with a wider implant that is “moderate”. He said he would close in the pockets on the sides and also release the muscle in the middle of my chest to improve my cleavage. Previously, my implants were placed too far apart and if I were to flex, they would move upward toward my armpits. He also suggested I increase my size from 300cc to 485cc.
I was a little nervous about increasing my size that big as I still wanted to look natural but i am SO glad I trusted him. At the end of the day, he is the expert.
Through this experience, I learned that everyone’s body is different and 485cc may look huge on some ppl but since I have a wide chest, it looks completely modest on me. I fit a 32D (which is the bra size I used to wear) but now I’m more full and actually have cleavage.
Recovery was much easier the second time around. He didn’t use any drains, and his incision was through the nipple. One thing about dr. Chu is that he is very very strict when it comes to post-op recovery so I’m trying my best to follow all of his rules!
I also love that he spends so much time with me at all of my appointments. He is at every single post-op appt and gives me detailed instructions and is walking with me throughout this journey. All of the nurses that work at the office are so sweet and amazing as well.
Thank you again Dr. Chu. My revision surgery was worth every single penny as I now feel more confident, beautiful, and comfortable in my new breasts.
