What an amazing difference a few days makes. I would say when you hit day five you turn an independence corner. Don't be mistaken, your body still gets super tired but you can get out of a chair alone again. Don't over do it. Had my one week post op appt. Got the alien drain out. Not gonna miss that relationship at all.
Great news and TMI - both nipples are responding to cold. Lol. Not always at the same time but there is hope. BTW, that is an unusual sensation post op breast reduction. All in all, doing well. Had some horrendous bruising in left breast. Here's a pic - 9 days after BR. Ick! Happy healing.

Laughter is NOT the best medicine when one had a tummy tuck...
OMG. Alert!!! Do NOT laugh. This is so hard for me because I crack jokes all the time and in true nerd fashion, I laugh heartily at my own puniness. Hmmm, this mornings giggle fit brought on some fantastic fireworks in my abdomen. Ugh. Hope all is ok in there. Have to share the humor.... Putting on perfume today after five days of no showering would be considered false advertisement. :). Hope you guys are all doing well.

Postop BR day 4, TT day 2
Hello all. Doing well with the exception of horrible back pain. Any pointers much appreciated. Tummy feels tight but no real pain just uncomfortable. BR sites sting here and there. Totally know what a zinger is now. Not so independent here at all. Hubby still helping me out of the jaws of the recliner. Oh what we took for granted prior to tummy tucks huh? Super happy I did it though. I am just ready to get some days logged so I can move easier. How are you ladies sleeping? I know the back pain is due to the 45 degree angle with knees supported. Still feel like I'm solely resting on my tailbone. Yikes! Happy healing!
