I've already shown these scar photos in a prior post, but I wanted to start a new one specifically about the msm tablets (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) I have been taking. Bought from a health store, <£10, they are apparently good for boosting collagen production. Will keep posted with more photos later x

Just wanted to show (exactly a year later) how my scars are looking now. The lighting is slightly different, but there is definitely improvement not just in colour but feel, too. I opened my profile and couldn't believe the original pic on the left - I'd forgotten how noticeable my stretch marks used to be. Of course, time is a great healer, but I do think my continual exfoliation and butter/oil application has helped. In the last month I have also been supplementing with msm (methylsulfonylmethane) tablets. I think these have helped a lot. The sulphur supplement is known for supporting collagen formation and, when taken with good amounts of vitamin c, is known for supporting good skin health and anti-ageing. Please note, I am no health expert and found out this info through a nutritionist at a health food store, so speak to a professional before starting such supplements.

How old are your scars? Mine are on my lower back from a growth spurt in my teenage years wonder if it’s too late.

I used a loofah, 100% cocoa butter stick and bio oil every day. I spend 30 seconds massaging my marks in a circular motion with the loofah. I followed this up with the cocoa butter stick and once dry, applied a few drops of bio oil. I've been doing this for 6 months only but I'm delighted!! :) :) :)

The stretch marks are sort of two ages; I developed some stretch marks low down close to my pubic bone when I was about 16 (13 years ago) and these turned white over time. However, I came off the contraceptive pill a year and a half ago and gained a lot more stretch marks around my belly button (more red) and weight gain caused the whiter ones to stretch further. I didn't expect to see such results so quickly, but I have been on top of this routine every day x

I scrub gently in the shower with water, so both the loofah and my skin is wet. However, once a week I have been using a dry loofah. This is obviously more friction, so I would be sure not to press too hard. A few days after that the skin would be a little red and sensitive, but the butter and oil helped to heal this. I do think breaking the skin gently like this causes the body to regularly re-heal with blood coming back to the surface etc. Hope this helps.

Please look on my other reply to see what they look like. The bio oil will be the most expensive (about £15 for a large bottle in UK), the other items are cheaper. I cant give an exact price as I am from the UK, sorry x
My stretch marks (as you can see in the first pic) were very obvious. They were a reddy purple and when I ran my fingers over them I could feel such a difference in skin texture... They were very deep tears in the skin.
Now a year and a half later they are flat and silver and I don't really worry about them being on show any more. Still don't wear a bikini though!!
