This is how I know my hip implants are not fully situated in the pocket. My right hip is rounder then my left hip. It has dropped and fluffed at a faster rate and looks fairly normal. My left hip still has a pointy look to it. The “fakeness” is noticeable when I walk up steps. The hip just pops out and has a “pointy” curvature as opposed to a natural roundness. So for me, the journey for natural looking hips has taken longer than one year.

Hey girl can you take pics standing straight? I’ve been considering hip implants but after reading your review I’m not too sure anymore.

And he’s reassured me that there’s no nodule under my hip implant & that it’s just the edge of the implant. I had him really dig in there with his finger to make sure. So I honestly feel better about it and I’m just going to leave them alone.

I’m almost one year post op from my hips with Stanton too and have the same issues and pain , did you ever get a price quote for removing them ?
