Since I can remember I have been conscious of my nose. Not sure at what point the deviation happened but do remember some incidents with baskets balls slamming my nose and the intense pain thereafter possibly leading to the bump. Anyway as life went on got the confidence in myself to live with it but after coming back every few years to the idea I eventually decided to give it a serious thought. Did the research and found the doctor in Netherlands when I was visiting. Was in one the top clinics, visited him, and he made me feel he was the right guy. I had previously once visited two doctors, the first who used turkey something to describe the hang of the nose (made me feel insecure), another who said it would all be fine etc this guy didnt make me feel insecure and told me what we would correct, showed me on ipad how it would look and said we should go for a natural looking change. Day of surgery and follow-up all went well and really the biggest fear I had was post op pain which basically there wasnt any much at all. The nose was suffed with cotton buds for a few days and that made sleeping difficult but nose recovered fast. didnt bruise much at all and once the things were taken off... I was ready to go normal. Im glad I got it done. It looks perfect from side. I would like the tip to be sharper and may get a revision done on the tip only. So if you have been thinking about it - suggest make sure the clinic is reputable and the doctor has a good history. One thing about EU is that doctors dont seem to advertise themselves and their work as much as in US so while I do prefer the US style marketing the job was done well and no one noticed per se the rhinoplasty in that it wasnt a drastic new nose or face but perfecter one.

As they say a picture is worth a thousand words fortunately I kept my pre-post photos and finally here is the revelation :) I have hugely benefitted from looking at others photos so wanted to do my part of sharing mine. I would say overall im 80% happy with the outcome, my front look is significantly improved. Few points to note, doc and I agreed that I wanted to retain a masculine nose so did not want significant size reduction only fine tuning, also I didnt want to "change" my look so we agreed to just try perfect as much as possible without too extensive work, agreed to keep a slight bump on the nose which in both of our opinion gives a more natural look and also masculine... so gist of matter is that didnt want major look change, didnt want to change the masculine feature of the nose, and wanted very natural appearance. In conclusion I have achieved all although only thing Id prefer for now is further tip reduction from front. What we did is raise the nose from side, reduce the size of nostrils, give a slight curvature, reduce the deviation, reduce the tip slightly too (guess didnt get enough). I Will be returning to the doctor sometime this year for further tip revision. If you want a very natural rhinoplasty then this Doctor is the one, I think this is his preference too and generally a European thing it seems. So I feel the new nose has significantly improved the look as well as look with smile. I like the way the nose balances from the front, its asthetic look and size reduced size and curve is ok. The raising of the tip has improved the look dramatically from sides specially with the refined bridge looks much better with side smiles. To reiterate, considering the price, the fact that I was pretty much pain free post op except for stuffiness, fast comfy recovery and final look Im really glad I finally did this! Also recentlt got a minor FUE hair job will update about that seperately.
