When I first went to the initial consultation I had many questions and concerns, at the end of the day, it is an operation! But since my first appointment I felt very relief and I had plenty of trust with Dr Bart. He explained the procedure, which for me was very important to understand and later, Sonja explained all the steps we should follow for a smooth and easy recovery. The procedure itself was fast and the same day I was at home. In general, I only felt a bit of discomfort, which is normal in these cases, but no pain at all!. After 7 days, I had my cast removal and although my swelling was clear, it started to come down soon. If I could go back in time I will definitely repeat it! . The best rhinoplasty surgeon that helps enhancing facial features with a natural looking nose. I had a great pre-op and post-op experience. Both Bart and Sonja help you with doubts and question. I recommend him to anyone that wants a nose that suits their face better (but not a small, barbie nose)

I am now 8 months post op and beyond happy with my results. I researched surgeons for a long time and found Dr.Bart via Instagram. I knew by looking at his patient photos that he was the surgeon for me. I loved how his work was natural and tailored to each person's face. I chose to travel to Dr Bart from the UK and I'm so glad I did. I waited 6 months for my consultation and was able to book the surgery for 4 months after that, and it was well worth the wait. Dr Bart's Clinic in Amsterdam is beautiful. You have a full nose examination with Dr Bart and a chat about what is possible, and he will make you an approximate photo result. Then you go upstairs to Sonja to discuss any other questions at all about the surgery. It's a thorough consultation that leaves you feeling very confident the service the Dr. Bart clinic provides. The only anxiety I had was around the anaesthesia, I didn't have any anxiety about the surgery outcome because I knew how super specialised Dr.Bart was in preservation rhinoplasty. Sonja answered any other questions I had before the surgery via WhatsApp and even offered to have the anaesthetist call me to reassure any fears I had regarding the anaesthesia. The operating clinic and recovery ward is in a private hospital and is very clean, new and modern. When it came to the surgery, everyone in the room was so kind and helpful regarding my fears being put to sleep and I will never forget that. Sonja even held my hand! I felt so safe. My pain during recovery was probably a 2, I did not find it painful at all - it's more an uncomfortable feeling as you feel very stuffed up and are feeling a lot of pressure, which is to be expected - but it's not painful. I had minimal bruising around my eyes and facial swelling which peaked and then slowly dissipated in the week after. I flew home 10 days after the surgery with my cast off and looking like I'd never had surgery. And best of all - no scars! I flew over for my final check up 8 months post surgery and was sent the final photos a few days later. I can’t believe I finally have the side profile of my dreams that isn’t focused on the harsh angle of my old nose anymore. Now when I look at my side profile I see all of my face. I feel like it’s the nose I was always supposed to have, but it took the artistry and skill of Dr Bart to bring it into reality.?I feel so beautiful and confident. Even little things, like applying shiny makeup highlight to the tip of my nose because the tip does not droop down anymore, make me so happy. I did this for myself only, because only I know what it feels like to be me. It doesn’t matter what others think about my decision. For anyone considering preservation rhinoplasty surgery with Dr.Bart Clinic, I cannot recommend them enough. I am so glad I got my preservation rhinoplasty with Dr Bart. He is warm, kind, professional and because he loves what he does, you will have the nose you have always wanted. Specific advice to those travelling to the NL for surgery: I stayed in an Airbnb in Hilversum which is a beautiful town 30 minutes away from Amsterdam on public transport. My advice to anyone travelling for surgery is to book an apartment or house to stay in so you will have a kitchen to make your own food and aren't confined to just a hotel room during your recovery. It will feel more homely. You will have more house options and it will be cheaper if you book accommodation outside of Amsterdam also. The public transport in Amsterdam is so well connected and it's so easy to get around so you really don't need to stay central for your recovery unless you want to. The private hospital you have the surgery in is not central and the only time I went into the centre during the 12 days I was there was for my final check up in Dr. Bart's clinic before we flew home the next day.

I could not be happier with my decision to trust Dr. Bart with improving my nose. I have been thinking of rhinoplasty for many many years but was scared and didn’t know how to choose a surgeon. I wanted to fix my sagging upper eyelids and a friend of mine recommended dr Stubenitsky for a blepharoplasty. I went for the 1st consultation and I received all relevant information about the procedure, recovery time and expected results. On the surgery day I was quite nervous but both dr. Stubenitsky and Sonja were great at putting myself at ease. I didn’t feel any pain during and after the procedure, I felt I was well taken care of. After one week I got the stitches removed and the result was already amazing even after such a short time. I could return to my normal life quickly. Scars faded completely in a few weeks. I cannot be happier with the result, my eyes look so fresh now and I’m just super happy! Sonja and Bart have been amazing before, during and after the procedure.

I first met with Dr. Bart a year ago for my initial consultation, I discussed my concerns and he explained to me what he could do about it, using my pictures. The surgery was scheduled 5 months after the consultation, and on the day of the surgery he walked me through what would be done again, and the surgery went smoothly. After 1 week I removed the plasters and there was practically no sign that I had even had a surgery. I just had my final appointment last week, where Dr Bart took pictures that he sent to me for side-by-side comparison. I'm extremely happy with the results and I've already received so many compliments on my new nose! Definitely worth it and highly recommend Dr Bart. Updated on 24 Apr 2023: The pictures show the before and right after surgery results, good to know that the tip drops in the first 2-3 months so it doesn’t stay pointed upwards as high as on the pictures. I am now 6 months post-op and apparently it takes 12-18 months to see the final results but I am already super happy with it.

I came to Dr. Bart with a crooked nose and asked for a revision rhinoplasty. Luckily for me he was able to help! On surgery day I already cried happy tears after seeing the surgery pictures. I always used to be so bothered by my crooked nose, I tried to hide is for so long. Now, when I see myself in the mirror my nose became the part of my face I love the most!
