5'8" and 117lbs: 430cc Mentor Silicone UHP Smooth Round Under Muscle
ORIGINAL POST
I had my first breast augmentation 5 years ago and...
WORTH IT$7,100
I had my first breast augmentation 5 years ago and have finally decided to increase in size!
I want to be able to help other ladies with similar stats who are looking into breast augmentation in their future as I have had so much trouble myself finding other girls similar to my body type who are aiming to go as large. I'm pretty fit (workout 6 days a week), and also pretty tall and lean but have a tush due to weight lifting. My goal is to even out my proportion as my upper body is pretty narrow. I would love some "side-boob" in order to look more proportionate with my hips.
STATS:
- 5'8"
- 115 lbs
- 11.5 bwd now (with my first surgery, I was measured at a 10.5 bwd by the same doctor)
- Before my first augmentation, I was a 32AA (if that) and had zero breast tissue. Skin and bones. Ugh.
1st Augmentation:
- 200cc Mentor smooth round silicone - moderate +
- I originally chose this size because the words "high-profile" and "ultra-high-profile" scared me. So, with a moderate + profile, 200 was the highest my surgeon felt comfortable going with my dimensions and lack of breast tissue. He let me know this decision helped in the long run because now my body has grown a bit to support my current implants and my tissues have stretched enough to allow for an increase in size.
2nd Augmentation Goal:
- 425cc Mentor smooth round silicone - high profile
My surgery is scheduled for February 22nd and I have my pre-op on January 31st!
I'm going to the same surgeon who performed my first augmentation as my results were flawless and the healing process was nothing outrageous. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes as much time as needed to sincerely and comprehensively answer all of your questions. The entire team is warm-hearted, understanding, and encouraging. I'll write a review for my incredible doctor as soon as my second surgery is complete. I've recommended other ladies to his practice as well and they have all had phenomenal results. I was originally recommended by my mother!
** Will be posting photos soon **

Thought you might want to be one of the first to comment on a new forum for women getting breast implant revisions this February 2017. If the link does not work, you can type the forum title into the RealSelf search bar. Good luck and keep us posted!

P.S. I think a two step breast augmentation process if very safe and reliable. Good for you for starting smaller and waiting to go larger!

For some reason I did not get the link and am having trouble navigating to the forum :(.

Thx for your posts! I too am thin with with little natural Brest tissue:(. I too had the same fears of going too large. I may do a revision as well. Unfortunately I don't think my PS was/is as thorough as yours. I will follow your updates. Good luck and healthy healing:)

Thank you at Milkymoon90! Yours look fantastic! I just checked out your review. I was a bit nervous at first for the UHP as it seems not a lot of ladies have those. I cannot wait!

My story is very similar as yours. I was barley A when I had my first breast augmentation back in 2000. I had went with 300cc now 17 yrs later I am post-op day 7. This time I went with 405cc. I used same Dr. as before because he is fantastic.

Thank you Moggio! How is your healing coming along? It's so relieving to find other ladies on here who have experienced similar situations or have similar statistics. I'm sure yours will heal up very quickly as well! Hope you are so incredible happy yourself!

Pre-Op - DONE!
I had my pre-op this afternoon and it went brilliantly!
I'm getting 430cc Mentor Ultra High Profile Smooth Round Silicone implants under the muscle.
My frame is very narrow and lean, I have hardly (if any) natural breast tissue (my before photos are 200cc Mentor silicone mod+ implants under the muscle), my body fat levels are rather low which means my skin is pretty thin, and I'm just simply petite...which makes choosing a larger implant somewhat easy because my options are extremely limited. The high profile implants were simply way too wide for my frame. The largest I could go in the high profile was a 325cc implant which wouldn't be enough of an increase for me, personally, to justify going bigger. And due to all of the above, anything bigger than 325cc in the high profile would create greater risks, cause complications later down the road, and would not be ideal to meet my goal with my frame.
Through our research, my boyfriend and I have realized there are not a ton of UHP reviews on this site, or anywhere on the web for the that matter - so I'm going to be keeping you ladies updated in hopes to help anyone else with a similar situation / considering the ultra high profile.
I'm going to begin creating my stash of creature comforts for my post surgery adventure. I have an incredibly supportive boyfriend who has agreed to help take care of my every whim and woe and who has already helped me tremendously on this journey.
My surgery is booked for February 22nd! 3 weeks - let the countdown begin.
And stay tuned for more!

I'm debating between 425 and 450. I think I'm going to go with 450 though. Worried they'll be too big. They are mentor high profile smooth under muscle.

February 2, 2017
They are going to look marvelous! I wish I could with the high profile! I think anywhere between 400 to 450 is a perfect size!

Thank you :) I'm so excited! I'm narrow as well. Lots of breast tissue but no upper pole fullness. I guess that's why my doctor chose the high profile. I was surprised when I found out the sizes he chose for me to try on!

February 2, 2017
Yeah! I hear you - my primary goal is for upper pole fullness! What were you expecting him to pick?! I've been reading a lot of reviews on this site that advise to always go a bit bigger!
February 3, 2017
Mine too! Yes I have read that lots too! I liked the 409 so he said 425 to achieve the look of the 409. He also gave me the 450 to try too though so I'm thinking that one now. Might as well hey?! lol I just kind of thought 359ush. Just seems to be a popular size. I'm happy with a bit more though. :)

I'm so sorry for my late reply IsabellaV! I know what you mean - all of the size options seem so similar and it's difficult to choose! They say there is hardly a difference in 25cc worth of change but I definitely notice a difference. And why not go up a bit more right haha!
