I consulted Dr. Anderson for a breast explant and she immediately gave me several options as I was unfamiliar with the particulars regarding breast explant surgery. From the moment I first met her, I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Anderson was very thoughtful during my initial examination; she discussed the surgery, how they would take measures to ensure that I was comfortable during and after, and she confidently answered all of my questions. She called me a week later to answer more of my questions and I finally scheduled it! The surgery was done in the office under local anesthetic, in under little more than an hour, and I felt no pain! She made me feel so comfortable during the removal and her skill, soothing nature, and professionalism put me at peace. It was an emotional experience for me, and I felt her support every step of the way! Each day after my procedure she texted me to check in. I am so happy with the decision I made and excited for the future! Dr. Anderson is someone I highly recommend!

Hi. Are you happy with the results? I'm hoping to have mine explanted soon and am in the process of researching doctors. Did she put drains in? Did she say anything about removing the capsules?

Yes, I am!! You can look me up on instagram if you like: keIlykurcinafitness and see some (clothed of course) pics. I am a fitness trainer and very petite so I feel so much more confident! No drains at first, then I need one for the left side and she left the capsules in (except for having to go back that second time for a bit more removal of scar tissue on left side (hence the drain)

What happened that made her have to go back and remove scar tissue and put a drain in?

It kept filling with fluid... before drain and second procedure she drained it with a needle. I'm a fitness trainer so I may have caused a bruise in there from going back to work (which is lots of exercise!)

Yes, she is! Highly recommend her. I am so happy with my decision to do this and just yesterday (after not quite, but almost 1 year post op) my husband said they look even firmer and better!! I am super small, but love it!!

Yes I miss my previous size! I did it because I had breast cancer in 09 and was left with missing breast tissue. I was told that implants was the only thing to help . I liked the size that I was before just was smaller on the right dour to surgery. Can you pm your results?

No worries. Glad you are happy with your results!! I have a lot of thinking to do. Trying to get my pics from my original Dr office so I can talk to a few other Dr's about their opinions. Glad to get a review of a Dr in my area! Thanks!

Best of luck on your journey. I now that Dr. Anderson does free consults. My best friend had her do liposuction on her and fix a hernia and WOW, her results are amazing. She is very connecting as a person and when I first went to her she gave me 3 options and just made me feel super comfortable, no pressure. But in this area we have so many great surgeons! I really STRUGGLED with whether to explant or not because I had a few people tell me mine looked perfect! But after I got them out they said 'wow, you look even better and your arms look even more sculpted and it just 'fits your body'...

I have the same STRUGGLE! I just feel that they are too big for my frame. Neck pain, back pain, chest heaviness. I just want to be able to put on a dress or shirt that fits all of me correctly not having to wear a bigger size because of my breasts.

I GET IT! You will love not having them, it truly was the BEST thing. I feel so cute in clothes and confident and no more pain in neck, back, etc. Even sleeping is way more comfortable!

She left some of the scar tissue and removed what she could~b/c it was so tightly against my chest wall, not wise to risk cutting the pec muscle.
