24 Years Old, Implant Removal. Henderson, NV

Dr. Hankins did a breast lift with a breast augmentation under the muscle for me a year and a half ago, I was so young with saggy large breasts and I was very self conscious. I was a DD cup prior to my lift and augmentation. I was so stuck with wanting upper pole fullness that I didn't even consider Dr. Hankins recommendation of not putting in an implant and just lifting my own breast tissue. After the procedure I ended up being a DDD putting in a 350cc mp+ implant. I loved my results so much, it made me feel so confident again. However, just like Dr. Hankins had warned me over time my breast tissue started to settle and my implant stayed high on my chest which looked great in a bra but not so great when I didn't have support. Plus my breasts felt heavy and I started to have some pain so I felt like it was time to just take the implants out and be all natural again. I spoke with Dr. Hankins in a consultation and he really took his time in explaining my options and completely understood how I felt. We decided to remove my implants in the office and wait 3 to 6 months for the pocket to close down and to see how much my breasts spring up without the implant in since I did to a breast lift as well originally, we spoke about possibly doing another lift with my own breast tissue and NO implant if I feel like they are still too large and lower than I would like! I had my procedure done today and I was a little nervous being awake for the procedure. I was able to pre medicate with a little bit of Valium to help me relax. Dr. Hankins and Bambi made me feel so comfortable, whenever I felt any pain all I had to say was ouch and they would numb the area a little more to ease the pain. Right when the implants came out my chest felt lighter immediately. I do have drains to make sure I don't get a seroma which is fluid collection, they are a pain in the butt but a necessary evil hah. I am beyond happy! I'm so excited to see how my breasts progress over time. I would recommend Dr. Hankins to everyone, he really is a fantastic surgeon and cares about his patients.
