BA story

I woke up early and showered with my antibacterial soap. It was a nice shower and kept me relaxed. I took a Valium and was ready to go. My friend showed up and we headed down to the surgery center.

When I got there, I was greeted with a smile and got checked in. They took my BP and sent me off for a pregnancy test. Obviously negative

I changed into my gown. The compression wraps for my legs were put on to minimize the chance of blood clots. They put on nice heated blankets and then we waited. PS came in and drew on me and went over the cc and placement one more time. 425 filled to 475 R and 475 filled to 525 L, placed subfascially. Her husband was the anesthesiologist and gave me a cocktail in my IV. It burned!!!! Ouch OMG.

I got wheeled to the OR and remember getting on another bed somehow. Then I was given some oxygen. Then I woke up 2 hours later feeling like nothing happened.

Everyone at this doctors office has the best bedside manners. I felt like royalty! Or like my best friends were performing the BA.

The rest of the day went by pretty easy. I slept a lot, ate lots of soup. Only real pain is from getting in and out of bed. Other than that it just feels like I had a good work out. I love them so far. Have some slight frankenboob, which I think means I have a good strong fascia, or some big implants. Lol I measured just for fun and it's already 3" added. Idk if I'm the only weirdo obsessed with numbers, but IF it stays like that, which I know with D&F it most likely won't, it would be a 32H. Holy moly awesome sauce!

I'm now 4 days post op and feeling good. Very little pain over the last few days. Not much dropping yet.

BP is looking good, getting prepared.

3 more sleeps! I bought my new 36DD bras today. Hope they fit. If they do, my proportions will be way better. My cat is massaging my calf and I'm just relaxing in bed. Tomorrow is my last work day, then I get a day to get groceries and other necessities. And then there's surgery the next morning. I'm very excited, but trying to stay calm.

High BP at pre-op

:( I'm not sure if it's the nerves or anxiousness, but it was high. At the end they tried again, but it was higher. Feeling not so excited as it may have to be postponed. I feel like crying. I don't eat many processed foods, rarely use salt or eat high sodium foods, I smoke maybe 5 cigarettes a day (I know, still bad), I'm not really overweight, could definitely exercise more though. It's always been lower even during pregnancy. Could it just be that I'm nervous? What's a girl to do?

So far so good. Great bedside manner. Gave me a realistic idea of what to expect.
