Hi,
I'm 32 and a mother to 2 children, both C section births, 1st was emergency so wasn't the best. After my first born I was left a size 22, I quickly joined the gym and dropped to a size 8 over 2 years of hard work. My tummy was ok but not great. My relationship broke down and I gained a little weight again to a size 12. I met my partner Chris 6 years ago and we had our son. It was this pregnancy that I feel made my belly bulge bigger, worse and stubborn. The last 3 years I've again tried to lose the bulge and drop some weight but it's not happening. Doctors have told me my body is happy with the size it is which is fine by me but......My hanging bulge is NOT! My partner surprised me with a Tummy tuck for Mother's Day, he said he's sick of me crying every time I get dressed up, he's sick of watching me feel inadequate on our holidays, and he wants me to wear a thong haha something I've never worn due to no belly support...only big pants for me.I researched hard and Dr Hurren is local with the most fantastic reviews. I met with him last Thursday for my 1st consultation. He took photos and went through what needed to be done. It turns out I need lipo on my upper ribs, just under my breasts. I have what looks like, another pair of boobies. (I'll add pictures) we booked me in for a fully tummy tuck and lipo. My surgery is 3 weeks today.....10th May. I'm going keep my page updated and hopefully take a few of you on my journey. Any advice is welcome.x

Longest wait ever!
So I have just under 3 weeks to go. I question myself at any opportunity... am I really that bad I need to do this? Am I still too big for a TT? And am I being selfish? Grrrrr I'm stressing myself out! It's funny because I've always said how much I'd love a tummy tuck and now I'm getting my wish it's not so exciting. Think the excitement will come nearer the time. I took some pictures of myself in clothes I won't wear because of my bulge, I plan to take pictures in the same clothes after my surgery so I can really see the difference & hopefully look forward to wearing them on my holiday in July. I will probably do this a lot to remind myself just how low the bulge makes me feel.

My TT is May 15th and I've asked myself those same questions!!! It's ok though, we put our bodies through a lot and we DO deserve this

Yes your right, I keep telling myself that. Feeling a bit more excited today though. Good luck with your tummy tuck :)

Pre op appointment
Today I had a text message from Spire in Havant giving me my pre op date.....3rd May. It's made me a bit excited which is the boost I needed after having a bad day yesterday. I bought some vitamins today to start taking and I also got some antihistamines as I don't want a sneezing fit after surgery.

We had our surgery the same time frame 5/12..I'm 3 wheeks post op.. I'm trying to find someone that is going through the same recovery timeline. I'm still slightly hunched, I move slow when getting up, can't sleep past 2-3 hours, still numb, have a few lumps and bumps. Are you experiencing anything similar and what is helping? Any feedback is appreciated
Thank you
