I had a larger lipoma, on my lower back, removed with great success in 2016. It too showed through fitted clothing and was in the way of underwear. This year I decided to have the shoulder one removed and another small one on the inside of my elbow. The elbow lipoma was removed and healed without even a stitch. There is no scar. The shoulder lipoma was removed and healed quickly with stitches under the skin that dissolved. There is almost no scar after 4 weeks and I'm sure that with a little more time that will fade like the one on my lower back which is virtually invisible. All three lipomas were removed using local anaesthetic which rendered the procedures painless. There was no significant pain from any of the wounds afterwards. A brilliant outcome for me. I have quote the cost for the removal of the three lipomas although I had them done in two procedures a year apart.
