5 months later and before/after photos

WORTH IT$1,300
Hi everyone, here are some photos before and after. The before was taken July 2014, and the after was taken March 2015. Please note that although I first had my cheeks and mouth filled in early September, I have a visit again in October for corrections, and in early December for another correction and slight fill as well (both cheeks ONLY). So the "after" photos are within 4 months later.

Thanks for adding the before shots- that was really nice of you! You look really good before, but your results are awesome. Are you happy with it still? Btw, do you remember what part of your cheek they treated?
Thanks. I just asked for more defined cheekbones. So, a juvederm was injected across the cheekbone below the eye area and slightly upwards. That was it. However, I have a dimple on my left cheek and it was filled too. As I said in my previous posts, a hollowness appeared, so I had a bit of filling right under the initial ones later on.
I had voluma in lips, temple, cheeks, under eyes and it cost me $3,000 so u got a great buy and look wonderful!!
That's quite a bit. Are you based in the UK? Perhaps another alternative next time. Expensive doctors are not necessarily the best ones.
No, in Phoenix, USA. I will not trust just anybody with my face.
One reason I feel the way I do is several years ago I had a fat transfer for the side of mouth and the fat migrated. I now have a pea sized lump between lips and chin and it appears to be the only place the fat remains. So I am overly cautious now.
what do you think? has the Voluma held up? do you think it's worth it? i have had Radiesse and it only lasts about 2 months on me. . .and it's expensive.
Only 2months?! As the doctor explained to me, radiesse lasts for around 3years! It's already been a year till September and my cheeks are as plump as ever
Hi i am going for voluma tomorrow on my cheeks for defined high cheekbones could you tell me how much ml did the doctor put for you? It looks really nice!
How long have your voluma results lasted?
one year

Correction update

I went again to see Dominic, and he corrected the halloness by inserting a bit of filler. He said that we couldn't see the gaps before due to the swelling covering it up and because there is no structure supporting from below, I ended up with the halloness just below the filler in the central cheek area. Here are a few photos, jsut after the procedure and a few hours later as well as the day after. I'd really like to know what you think, so please post your comments!

looks great! any before pics? 1 vial in each cheek? just got mine today, bruising and swelling right now.
I will upload some before pics later.
my bruising is under my eyes but can't see your eyes in pics. no bruising on my lips yet.
I did not have any bruising under my eyes at all. The only bruising was on the cheek, and on the mouth. The bruising on the mouth was a little blue black dot just under my cupid's bow on the left. I'll also see if I have some pics xx
from what i know voluma has only been on the market for about a year with most doctors only getting it the last 6 months so i don't think anyone really knows for sure how long this will last. 2 years is what the company said they found thru their testing.
I think it looks great. I am considering fillers for nasal labial folds. Well, I have been considering it for over a year now, I am so terrified, read so many not-so-good reviews, but I also don't like that I am getting the lines and my face is so skinny and narrow. Thank you for your update! let us know how you are doing.
Thanks. Not sure how visible your lines are. But, for me, the doctor put the fillers right near the corners of the nose and he didn't go down to the corners of the mouth, he said this is a more natural look and it won't make me look strange. Anyway, find a doctor with good reviews and go for it. The fillers work, but the dissapointing part for some is that they don't last long. Some would go for a mid face lift which is long lasting and it's an option I consider for the future. Good luck!
Thank You!!!
My doc is recommending Voluma over radiesse and said it's supposed to last longer. What filler did he use to correct? Did he charge for correction?
No. Radiesse lasts longer for up to three years, and you can research. Please research well before visiting anyone. He used the same filler to correct and without charge, of course.

Ten days later photos, hallowness and marks

10 month for $1,300 !!! and after 10 month you got nothing to show for. $1300 wasted. I am surprise with the hallowness and marks that you are still happy with the filler. Have you look at the hallowness from a distance ??
I had two procedures which costed 800£ approximately 1300$. At the beginning, the hallowness did not show. The more the swelling subsided, the more it showed. UK prices vary for fillers. Usually cheek augmentation costs no less than 500£, and lips from 200£.
you should go back to your doctor about the hallowness and the marks and see if you can get the correction for free
I am in two weeks :(....thanks
Thanks for the feedback :-)
How's it look now? Has it evened out? Marks gone?
Check out the update!
It's looking great now. I am a little confused. Do I presume "hallowness" was a typo for hollowness? I see it repeated by several people so I'm wondering is it a technical term I've missed the memo on?
I think it's just a US way of saying hollowness, it jars a little for us doesn't it?
I'm getting to at age where new words are popping up all the time and old words no longer have the same meaning!
yes, hollowness lol x
