Two Years After my Lower Facelift

People always ask to see pictures of how well the treatments are holding up. For me, after three months after the swelling went down, it hardly looked any different. The jowls were still there and after the lift I have padded areas along my cheek bones and side of my face which totally destroys the contour of my face.
Saving up for a real facelift.

One Year Anniversary Pictures After Lower Face Lift (Biltmore Lift)

My one year anniversary after my lower face lift and neck lift is
coming up in January. I am updating my profile w current pictures. I
know everyone always wants to see long term pics rather than short term
and the question is always how long does it last? I feel exactly the
same way you do. After all the swelling had dissipated, my face was back
to the same square shape and all my wrinkles returned. In retrospect, I
think anyone over 60 really needs a deep plane face-lift. I am sorry I
did not realize that last year. I thought all the lovely pics were of
ladies w really good results. Quite the contrary, it was that 1-3 month
honeymoon where we are in love with the results of overly plump features
but then reality sets in. Do I look any better? I think the pictures
speak for themselves. My neck area is crepe, very wrinkled and
unflattering. I can see a bulge beginning on my chin in one of the pics
that I never noticed. I have always been very critical of my jowls and
that is what I wanted to disappear the most. Why do they call it a LOWER
facelift if it doesn't address that area? Regrets? Yes. I could have
saved that money to do it right the first time. Hope these help anyone
considering this particular procedure

Dr. Harley is a great plastic surgeon. It was a very painless procedure, I literally do not remember a thing, only waking up to my bed. Shouldn't all things be that easy? The staff, Juanita and Kelly were also great. I couldn't have asked for a smoother experience especially coming from out of town. If you want subtle, ordinary results DO NOT go to Dr. Harley. That is exactly what I liked about his before and after photos. I am 64 years old and by my pictures, you can see I was definitely in need of a facelift. I live in Maryland and poured over the before and after pictures of every plastic surgeon here. There was very little distinction. No big WOW factor. Somehow I fell upon the Real Self site and I started noticing pictures of patients who used Dr. Harley. I pulled up all the pictures of his patients and the results were nothing less than amazing. Everyone looked 110% better. That's exactly what I wanted. I am extremely happy with my results, no more jowls and turkey neck, but I do have a tentative appointment with Dr. Harley in another ten years for another nip-tuck if necessary. Take care guys and God bless.
