Happy with my Results from Ptosis and Double Eyelid Surgery

WORTH IT
I have been considering ptosis eye correction for many years as my right eyelid has been droopy due to lazy eyes. After reading reviews, I mustered my courage to Whatsapp Marble Plastic Surgery to query more with photos, type of procedures and schedule an appointment. The response was speedy. The recommended procedures based on photos were incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + possibly upper eyelid fat repositioning. Upper eyelid fat repositioning was recommended due to multiple lines observed in the photo but would be confirmed during face-to-face consultation with Dr Suh.
As Marble was able to address all my queries, I took a risk to pay a 10% deposit for the surgery and scheduled my appointment on the first day of my arrival in order to fit the stitch removal (7 days post op) in my short Korea trip.
On the surgery day, my appointment was delayed for 1hr plus due to earlier appointments were overrun. I met with my English consultant discussed on my concerns and what I wished to achieve from the surgery. While waiting for Dr Suh, I was given a prescription to proceed to level 1 pharmacy to purchase medication and the consultant provided instructions on the after-surgery care. After waiting for some time, I finally met Dr Suh and I highlighted that my only desire was to make my eyes looking the same size. After using toothpicks to draw out the double eyelid shape and assessing my droopy eyelids, Dr Suh was honest that it would not be possible for me to achieve same size for my eyes as the eyeballs are asymmetry and the eyelid muscles of my right eye is too weak. However, he will try his best to make it more similar and will reduce the drastic difference. He added that I did not have to do upper eyelid fat repositioning. After much consideration, I decided to proceed with the surgery (incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction) and hope that the difference would be reduced.
After signing some paperwork, the consultant took me to the surgery room, and the nurses prepared me for the surgery. He redrew the line before he started the surgery. Thereafter, I heard the consultant wished my smooth surgery and suddenly I felt myself floating away in a rainbow land with a lot of colourful lights (sedation kicked in). After some time (not sure how long), my subconsciousness came back slowly, and I could hear the conversation between Dr Suh and nurses, smell some burning smell, and felt some tugging but not painful. Dr Suh asked me to open and close my eyes many times to check on the stitching and my eyelid felt heavy.
The surgery took about 1.5h. I was guided to a resting room and given a cold eye mask. After about 30min, I was “discharged” and I was able to see and make my way back to hotel. For the next few days, I followed the post ops surgery care diligently (cleaning using sterile saline soln, apply lotion and used the eye mask provided for cold compress). My eyes were the most swollen on day 1 but I was able to continue with sightseeing and shopping with a sunglass on. I also drank a lot of pumpkin juice to help with reducing the swelling. On the 7th day, I returned to the clinic for stitch removal and they gave me LED light to help with reducing the swelling. Dr Suh checked my eyelids said everything looked good and my eyes were more similar, though cannot be exactly the same size. It has been 2 months since my surgery, and I am glad that I had went ahead with the surgery as I’m satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend the clinic and Dr Suh for eye ptosis and double eyelid surgery.
