It Has Been Two Weeks and I Am Past the Scabbing and Already

Coming all the way from Cape Town by myself, I thought that I would feel quite isolated as I underwent my hair transplantation. But that was not to be. From the minute I landed, I had great company. The driver was very friendly and took me to the hotel and ensured that I was checked in before he left. After that, I was in the care of my coordinator who provided me with updates and guided me on what I needed to do before, during, and after my surgery. The surgeon and his team were also very lovely, as was everyone else I met while in the clinic. I got the gold package that includes sedation and fibroblast. Even though my session took several hours because I had a lot of thinning and we needed over 4000 grafts to cover my head. I did not feel bored or alone. I basically watched Netflix for a couple of hours. It has been two weeks and I am past the scabbing and already, I love how my hair looks. Of course, I have a long road ahead and given how well the team has been responding to my questions.
