Today I Am Active and Outgoing

WORTH IT$5,500
The way we feel about ourselves shows up in many aspects of our lives. Using myself as an example, there is a huge difference between me that people knew 14 months ago and they interact with now. Today I am active and outgoing. If I am not at work, I am out with my friends, swimming with my children, or taking walks with my wife. I have no problem with saying yes to drinks after work or random hikes on the weekend. But 14 months ago, I said ‘no’ to almost everything, and I avoided being seen. It all came down to what was happening to me – I was balding.

My baldness started slowly. Before I knew it, I had gone completely bald in my mid-scalp, crown, and frontal scalp. It seemed as if the more hair I lost, the more of me that disappeared as a husband, father, and friend. I was losing who I was because I was afraid of being judged from the outside. I could have continued down this road, but I eventually decided to turn my life around by getting the one thing that would address my insecurity: hair transplant at Heva Clinic. It turned my life around. It might seem like hyperbole, but it did. You see, when I went in, I had advanced male pattern baldness, and I was not sure that they could do anything to stop the hair loss. They were confident that they could and even showed me pictures of previous cases. But something in me had given up, and a part of me was going through the procedure just to prove that it would not work.

My surgeon started off with a thorough explanation of what would transpire on the day of the surgery. He also advised me on what to do before I came in to ensure that the surgery was a success. On the D-day, he extracted 5,000 grafts from the donor area. While this was a huge harvest, he assured me that the donor area would heal quite well. He then transplanted the grafts across my frontal scalp and mid-scalp. He only used some of them on my crown as he told me that the most important sections were the visible frontal areas. There was a lot of punching, but I was lucky to be sedated, so I was not in complete agony the entire time. Once the procedure was over, I was left to recover in a room for a while before the sedation wore off and I was able to see what the surgeon had done. That man has gifted hands, and I was a bit impressed at the time. Of course, a part of me was still struggling with the possibilities, so I chose to push my hopes back down.

Over the months, I started seeing changes in my new hair growth. They started in my frontal half and soon spread to my mid scalp. Soon enough, my hair was growing in and covering these previously bald sections, and now, I look like a completely different person. Of course, there was only so much that the surgeon could do, and my crown remains thin as he had told me would happen. I am able to hide this by wearing my hair around this region short. But other than that, my new hair has changed my life through and through. It might seem superficial to hinge my confidence on hair, but hey, it worked for me, and I am sure there are many other men out there who would benefit from taking a similar step.
