Terrific Experience and Outstanding Results
WORTH IT
I had my hair transplant procedure performed by Dr. Sezgin just over 5 months ago (Feb 2023) and I am completely blown away by the results (even with many months more growth to go until the final result, I would be incredibly happy if this was the final result).
This was in fact the second hair transplant procedure I have undergone. I had my first transplant in early 2021, which was performed in London, UK. I had naively thought that going to a UK clinic would automatically provide good results, but I was completely wrong and failed to take the time to identify a leading surgeon. 15 months after my first surgery, the results were incredibly poor (lacking density and hair place in different directions). I went back to the clinic and they admitted the results were sub-par and offered to re-do the procedure, however I had completely lost faith and opted to find somewhere else.
After moving to Dubai, I was keen to fix the initial bad result, and this time did extensive research to select the best surgeon and clinic. This involved hours of studying forums, social media of results, and meeting different surgeons. I am very happy to say I ultimately decided to proceed with Dr. Sezgin.
He immediately acknowledged the poor results from my first surgery and provided me with re-assurance that it could be fixed, which massively settled me nerves. I scheduled the surgery and the process was this time was night and day compared to my first surgery. The attention to detail from Dr. Sezgin and his team was immense, ensuring blood work was in the right limits, walking me through what to do before the procedure etc.
On the day of the surgery everything went incredibly smoothly (I fell asleep for most of it). The facilities at the Hortman Clinic (where Dr. Sezgin operates) are stellar and I felt very comfortable through what is quite a nerve wracking experience. Dr. Sezgin and the team were incredibly patient and did not rush any aspect of the surgery, focusing on quality and attention to detail.
I had regular face-to-face check-ins in the days / weeks following the surgery which comforted me that everything was on track and surgery was a success, and allowed me to ask questions to ensure I was following the best aftercare.
I began to see dramatic results around 3 months post surgery, which was much earlier then I was expecting. From month 3 / 4, after a hair cut, it was clear the results were going to be great and I could see results week to week.
I am excited to see the results through the next 6 months, and truly glad I selected Dr. Sezgin to perform the surgery.
