My Experience with Dr. Hamid Aydin
Hi guys,
I hope all of you are well. I want to share my experience for my hair transplant surgery with Dr. Hamid Aydin who is the leader of EstetIstanbul Medical Center. Today, I have completed exactly one year after the surgery.
I want to refer that my results are very poor as you will see. Also, I want to share my experience with Dr Hamid Aydin and his team. It was planned that Hamid Aydin will do the surgery by himself but when I went to Liv Hospital, he wasn’t there. Aykut, who is the assistant of Dr. Hamid Aydin, tried to convenience me that someone else will do the surgery instead of Hamid Aydin but I didn’t agree. Hamid Aydin came late and he did the planning. After taking some blood measurements, the surgery started with a number of technicians. The guys were careless; they were talking and listening to music all the time. They left me many times during the surgery and came back because they usually do number of surgeries at the same time at different rooms. This means that different guys will work at your head which is not good. Hamid Aydin came for few minutes after extraction of the grafts to do the actual planning into my scalp, and his assistants inserted the grafts afterwards but he wasn’t there. The agreement before the surgery was that he will do most of the surgery and his team will assist him. That didn’t happen and it was the opposite, he just came for few minutes and left. He didn’t supervise the guys during their work. The results as you see are very sparse and poor.
Regarding the post-surgery care, it is very difficult to contact his assistant Aykut. Before the surgery, he used to reply to my inquiries very quick. After the surgery, I struggled to contact him. He exactly said to me many times ‘’I am taking care with the current patients as I was doing with you because the new patients have the priority’’ It shouldn’t work like that; they should take care with everyone.
Please have a look at my photos and you will find that I have number of problems such as:
1 The hair is very sparse all over my head.
2 The density is not equal, the left side of the scalp is slightly denser than the right one. Also, the middle is different from both the left and right sides.
3 The hairline is obvious that it is not natural.
4 Before the surgery, they said that they will transplant 600 grafts at the crown but they didn’t do that.
Also, I have attached photos for my donor area, as you see, it is depleted.
I don’t have any personal problems with these guys. It is simply my experience and what happened exactly.
