Hair transplant to reduce forehead size w/ Dr. Epstein

4 month update

WORTH IT$11,000
Helloo. So it’s been 4 months since the procedure and the growth is coming in slowly but surely. I’m so happy that my hair has been growing because I know that sometimes these type of procedures may go awry. Just can’t wait for the hair to become more dense. The scar on the back of my head could be healing better than it was but I’m not too concerned because it will rarely see the light of day. So far so good though!

How much was the procedure ? You look great !!
Growing in nicely :)
My hair is receding all around my hairline and I’ve lost at least half in volume and am envisioning that I’ll have to have a transplant. The thing they all do and it really annoys me is give you a perfectly straight hardline. I don’t know too many people with a straight line on their forehead. Do you know if their is a reason why they do that because I’ll be fighting them all the way for an uneven hairline.
You can draw your own line
Thanks so much or your detailed review! Can you share a bit more about your experience with Dr. E? Is he responsive? Does he listen to you, or rush to get rid of you as quickly as he can? Did he personally see you for follow up appointments?
Looks great. How many grafts did you have.

3 month update

Hellooo. So today makes 3 months and I’ve gotten a good amount of growth thus far. There’s been a pretty big jump in growth from month 2 to 3. I’ve switched to the Kirkland brand of minoxidil twice a day and so far so good. The dryness and dandruff is still there (as you can see in the video along with some of my cream face products sorry about that) but I think it’s a small price to pay for such dramatic growth. I hope it continues to grow well into month 4 because I am trying to go on a mini vacation in March and hope I can at least wear my edges out while wearing my headband wig. My donor area is growing in nicely as well. The scar is slowly disappearing as well. I have also noticed that the sides of my hair are growing faster than the middle but I’m hopping it levels out since it is still relatively early. See you in month 4!

2 month update

Hello all! So it’s officially been two months and I can see little hairs growing in which is exciting. I’ve been using rogaine 1-2x a day which causes quite some dandruff but it’s manageable. I just can’t wait for my hairline to fill in all the way. Now it’s just a waiting game. My donor area has started to fill in a bit more as well but I still have a pretty prevalent scar that I’m hoping will go down eventually. I’m not too worried about it though because I rarely wear hairstyles that you may see the back of my scalp. See ya at month 3!
