Like most people I know, I do not like hospitals. The thought of walking into one just gives me a sinking feeling and I would rather avoid them as much as I can. So, despite how excited I was about getting a hair transplant to deal with my thinning hair, I still had reservations about the overall hospital experience. I had all sorts of questions running through my mind until I got to the actual clinic. Heva was not what I expected. It did not feel stuffy and instead felt like a boutique hospital with natural lighting, lots of fresh air, and minimal people in the waiting room. Everything felt curated and the prep room was very relaxing with some calming bossa nova music in the background. The fact that they also offered me a drink calmed me even more and I somehow forgot that I was in a clinic and just leaned into the whole experience. The best part was that once the surgery was over and I had received instructions on how to care for my scalp, I had the green light to go recover in my hotel. I do recommend them to anyone suffering from hair loss.
