My First (And Only) Procedure with Dr. Sayeed
I’ve never had any surgical procedures done and was a bit nervous with this hair transplant. I spoke to Dr. Sayeed a few times before the procedure date and was completely at ease going into it. He made sure I had everything I needed, worked up a regimen for my hair outside of the surgery itself (minoxidil, finestaride, RBC options), and followed up far more than I expected.
Dr. Sayeed was very frank about the procedure and walked me through what I should expect. He didn’t sugar-coat it, parts of it would be uncomfortable, but not unbearable. I think knowing this going in made it a lot easier. The hardest part of the day was the anesthetic injections into the scalp. Other than that, I just relaxed with the music they provided- I think I even dozed off at one point towards the end. It was a full day effort by Dr. Sayeed and his amazing staff. They even got me lunch, which was an unexpected bonus.
The post-surgery treatment was thorough, and required some care. The bleeding and “look” of my scalp was a little more jarring than it felt (since the sites were numb). Dr. Sayeed and his staff made sure I had the supplies I needed and instructions as well (saline spray, sleeping more upright, etc.). My hair started looking “normal” within a week. The best part about the procedure was that there wasn’t a line in the back of my scalp as you’d see in traditional transplants. Dr. Sayeed checked in a lot, so that was also a huge plus especially when I had questions.
If I ever need to get any other work done, I know exactly where I will go. Dr. Sayeed went well beyond what I expected or have experienced with other physicians. But, from what his staff tells me, that’s just the kind of guy he is.
