I Love my New Hairline
WORTH IT
As a content creator, I have gotten so many rude comments about my high forehead that it got to the point that I was just hiding it. I tried different angles with my camera and even wore bangs at some point before moving on to wigs. But none of these did away with the fact that I was losing hair, and it was hurting my ability to be authentic with my audience. It took a lot of convincing for me to get the female hair transplant because, truth be told, I was afraid that I would end up with a man-like hairline. Worse still, I feared having the surgical look. My anxiety was very high when I arrived in Istanbul and met with my surgeon. We must have spent hours talking about my hairline and coming up with the curve. He did not rush me and understood why this was important to me, not just as a creator but also as a woman. I was a mess most of the time, but he was very gentle with me, and that helped me feel more comfortable. I love my new hairline and I have been sharing my journey with my followers because I know what it feels like to suffer in silence and want more women to know that their story can be different.
