I chose Smile Hair Clinic for my hair transplant for two main reasons: Firstly, I had never been to Istanbul, and secondly, it was considerably more cost-effective compared to getting the procedure done in Singapore.
Upon arrival, I was introduced to Dr. Ahmet Can Azak, who took the time to discuss realistic expectations for designing my hairline. I must admit that the local anesthesia was somewhat uncomfortable, but once that was over, the rest of the procedure—extraction, incision, and implantation—went smoothly (and any discomfort was likely due to the local anesthesia).
One notable aspect of Smile Hair Clinic is the diversity within their team. From having your own dedicated case manager to a dedicated aftercare team, I couldn't find any faults in their service. Throughout my stay in Istanbul, the team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Honestly, if I were ever to consider a second transplant (although I hope not, given my low pain tolerance), I would unquestionably choose Smile Hair Clinic again. Thank you for everything! :)
