I Was Happy to Get the Nudge.

WORTH IT
It takes me a really long time to grow hair because I have very slow hair growth. I was even worried that the transplant would not work because of this but my surgeon told me that it would not be an issue. The process at heva was extensive and I loved how much time they spent on the consultation so that we would all be on the same page. When I finally got to Istanbul, I found that my package had included 3 nights at Radisson Blu where the staff was very accommodating. I also had a private transfer to the clinic with a very lovely gentleman who made sure I was always on time. But get this. The best part of my stay was the day of my surgery. The team literally spent one hour sectioning, braiding and tying my locs back. Had I known that I was getting styled for the surgery, I would have been more prepared for it and would not have been staring at them with an open mouth the whole time! They were surprisingly very good at handling locs which I understood was for them to expose my hairline and crown while protecting my hair. To me, that told me everything I needed to know about how much they care about hair. One hour, guys! After I had left, I got lots of updates from the aftercare team who literally monitored me every day through the app to make sure I was not skimping on the aftercare and that I was not stressing my scalp. I tend to slack a bit on such things so I was happy to get the nudge. Their work paid off in the year that followed because by month 11, my crown was boasting thick and new hair growth that was blending well with the base of my locs. I am still going to wait till month 14 (I am now at 12) before I post my final pictures and decide what I will do next.
