I Am Happy to Announce That I No Longer Need Daily Topical Fibers Because Heva Gave Me a Solution to Last.
WORTH IT
I am happy to announce that I no longer need daily topical fibers because Heva gave me a solution to last. My journey to getting a hair transplant started with a trip to Turkey. If you have never been to Istanbul airport, don’t be shocked when you land and see people walking around with headbands and bandages. I was curious as to why there were so many people wearing what seemed like medical devices and like the litigator I am, I asked my tour guide about it. She explained that Istanbul was not just a travel destination for tourism but also medical tourism. And without skipping a beat, she looked me dead in the eyes and said that there were also hair transplant clinics in the city. I knew I had lost hair but had not realized that it was that bad. I ignored the opportunity before me for a few days before finally giving in to the urge to see what hair transplants looked like. When I landed on heva’s page, I was so sold that I booked a virtual appointment with them. They did not have any slots available but went ahead to explain that mine was a Norwood 2 level of hair loss with major recession at the temples which was making my forehead more prominent. I traveled back to the US but booked an appointment with them for a month later when I went in for my procedure. We had agreed on using the DHI, which is direct hair implantation, as this would allow my surgeon to place the new grafts between my hairs while avoiding the need for me to shave off the recipient area. This procedure also had a faster recovery time, which was crucial for me as I had a pile of work waiting for me back home. Through the use of 2,200 grafts from my occipital zone, the surgeon was able to cover all my problem areas, and he mostly focused on my front. As I had been promised, I healed very fast as I had less bleeding than I would have had with the FUE. In fact, I was not even red by day 14 when I went back to work. However, I did have shedding in week 4 but this was not an issue as I had not shaved off any hair so people could not tell that there was a difference. My new hair growth started peaking at month 4 and has been coming in fast for the last 2 months, such that my hairline has already gone down by at least a centimeter. I know I am at the mid-growth phase and I am eagerly waiting for my one-year results. But already, I look less tired than I did before, which I think is earning me points with new clients.
