This is a Very Good Deal

I tend to avoid cognitive biases as my work revolves around helping people navigate relationships in the workplace. Who would want a biased consultant? But as much as I try, I have come across so many cases of bait-and-switch tactics in medical tourism that I was worried that I would also be a victim. Particularly, I thought that I would be forced to pay more for medications, extra grafts, and other extras that the clinic could pick and choose. I had saved enough money for over a year but I knew that if I incurred extra fees, I would have to reach into my daughter’s college fund. So, to avoid this, for every clinic I consulted, I asked for a quote. My issue was quite simple as I had thinning across my entire mid-scalp and frontal third, and I had the pictures and videos to boot. Therefore, pricing should have been straightforward. It was not. Most of the clinics gave me ambiguous ranges or tried to charge me per graft, all of which made it hard for me to budget wisely. Heva Clinic was very transparent about pricing and after our consultation, their team sent me a package quote that included everything from my transfers to my accommodation, medical expenses, and aftercare. Since it was in writing, I had the confidence to trust the offer and we went through with the Gold package and FUE hair transplant. The team kept up their end of the deal. The quoted price, which was very fair compared to what I had been charged in the US, included 3 nights in a 5-star hotel, private transfers, bloodwork, sedation, anesthesia, the surgery, fibroblast tissue transfer, the post-op washes, aftercare app access and a full medical aftercare kit, as well as extras such as meals during the surgery. This experience redefined my expectations in terms of medical tourism and as I post this review, I am well into the third month of healing. I am past the shock loss and can already see fine hairs breaking through the surface, which shows that I did get exactly what I paid for. This is a very good deal.
