My FUE Transplant Experience

My FUE Transplant Experience

WORTH IT
Yesterday I had an FUE procedure, around 1,600 grafts, at New Hair Hair Transplant Clinic.

I came in with the main concern of my hairline, but wanted some touchups here and there. Dr Kim gave his honest opinion and we agreed the extra spots I wanted wouldn't make much of a difference. He could of easily agreed and just got a bigger sale from me, which I am greatful for him being honest. We ended up just doing my hair line which I am more than happy with.

The day was quite long but there were breaks, and lunch was provided to me, as well as facilities to brush my teeth and freshen up, so it didn't feel quite as endless as I'd built it up in my head. The injections at the start definitely weren't fun, but after that I was pretty comfortable for most of it.

Last night was probably the hardest part just because sleeping upright isn't something I'm used to. I didn't get the best sleep, but it was manageable. Today my scalp is a bit red with some little scabs, which is exactly what they told me to expect. It's more tight than painful, and I haven't really needed much for pain.

I did my first wash exactly the way they showed me and everything still looks fine. I know it's way too early to judge anything, but I'm feeling a lot less anxious now that the procedure is over. I can already see the grafted area and visualise my new, upcoming hair!

Overall, the consultation was fantastic, he took his time and didn't rush me. Extraction and insertion were manageable. The next day wash and therapy were great as they very gently washed my hair knowing it would be a little sore to touch.

I'm happy with the process and now just need to stick to my post procedure instructions so I can enjoy my new hair.
