It has been a phenomenal experience, everyone was courteous, spoke English eell and was very detail orientated about every step. During the day you have to worry about nothing, from breaks to ordering lunch to what to do immediately afterwards. The aftercare goes beyond my research - oxygen tanks, laser therapy, hands on teaching of hair wash, follow up consultation, and answering any questions I had over whatsapp. I'm so happy with the experience that I am already starting to recommend this clinic and the procedure to friends. ...read moreHi everyone, I had my FUE hair transplant yesterday at a clinic in Seoul (around 3,000 grafts), and I wanted to share my Day-1 experience since other people’s reviews helped me a lot. Surgery Day: The procedure took about 7–8 hours. Other than the numbing injections, there was almost no pain. The staff communicated clearly in English and made me feel comfortable. Day After: A bit of swelling but very little pain. The donor/recipient areas are red with small scabs, which I was told is normal. First Wash: I did my first gentle wash today following the instructions. No issues with the grafts. How I Feel: I feel relieved and optimistic. I’ll continue to share updates as things progress.
...read moreI had my FUE hair transplant of around 1600 grafts yesterday and wanted to share my experience. I did a lot of research before deciding to go for NewHair Institute in Seoul and these small personal reviews helped me a lot with my decision - so I wanted to give a quick review as well. :) So the entire procedure lasted for about 6-7 hours and I already had my first head wash and aftercare today as well. On the day of surgery I honestly was quite nervous and really felt quite relieved after the consultation with my doctor (Dr.Kim). He was not pushy at all and took as much time as I needed for hairline design and long-term expectations. His calmness and reassurance made me a bit more relaxed and I decided to proceed. The entire procedure goes by quite fast as a lot is happening around you and you really don’t feel the 6 hours. Regarding pain levels, there is nothing you have to be really afraid of as after the anesthesia injections (which are a bit painful but quickly over) I did not feel any discomfort. After the whole thing I did not really feel any pain, but I also took some painkillers just to be sure. The “worst” part about the surgery is probably the sleep situation on the first day, as I wanted to be extremely careful with not touching my head and I had really light sleep because of that. But nothing toooo bad, looking forward to getting back to normal of course. So after my first wash today (which was of course very gentle) my scalp situation right now is that the donor area as well as hairline feel a little tight but not painful. Of course everything is still a bit red and here and there are a few dried blood spots, but overall it feels pretty good and I am really looking forward to the results in the following months. Now I try to stay careful and take it very slowly over the next week, but most importantly not to overthink every single thing. In general I am very happy with the whole experience and definitely recommend them for any type of hair consulting/procedure.
...read moreI had 1500 graft FUT operation from this clinic. Some friend told me it would be very painful, but other than a few injections it was not painful at all. When my toddler steps on my foot it hurts more. The service was very efficient and staff were very kind and accommodating. I speak some Korean, but they made effective use of translation tools as well, and the doctor was able to explain all details and converse professionally in English. The cost was much more affordable than my home country Canada. So far the results are early, but donor scarring is minimal; discomfort/pain/itchiness minimal; and hair already starts to look close to normal. I would highly recommend this clinic.
