Extremely Happy, Satisfied with #1 surgeon Dr Kwon in Seoul + the Patient-centered Care and Excellence (Canadian Female)

I was looking for 2 main things in a hair transplant surgeon & clinic: a world-class surgeon I can TRUST and patient-centred care. As a former investigative journalist, I spent about a year researching surgeons and clinics in North America, Korea, and Asia, and I came across Dr Oh Sung Kwon (Dr Kwon) after seeing a video by a Korean female celebrity patient of his. I researched further and learned that many celebrities have chosen Dr Kwon of Forhair Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul.

After seeing his video interviews, I can see why: he's honest, straightforward and will not push you to have more hairs transplanted. From my experiences, Dr Kwon truly cares that the procedure will be a great success.

He's a rockstar among hair transplant surgeons, and I'd even say he's the BEST in Asia and among the top in the world after seeing many of his patients' results and experiencing his absolute professionalism, compassion and care firsthand.

It was a painless procedure. I was super nervous before the procedure - I am afraid of pain - but I was reassured and the entire team made me feel extremely comfortable and cared for. The needles were totally bearable and I watched Netflix and read articles on my phone.

It's now a week after the surgery and I'm happy with how it's all turned out. I am 100000)% satisfied at this stage. I'll share more photos and updates at the 2 week mark and other milestones. Stay tuned!

I highly recommend Dr Kwon & the Forhair clinic in Gangnam. I'm absolutely happy and satisfied at the 2-week mark after surgery. If I had known that the surgery and the recovery process would be so easy and painless, I would have undergone the hair transplant years ago. I was able to focus on work, maintained my usual long hours, and attended work meetings too (covering my head with bangs).

Today I was able to wash and massage the new hair and scalp for the first time in 14 days.

There was some tolerable discomfort when my scalp became dry and felt tight, but the Forhair clinic gave me an antibiotic spray that also contains nutrients to moisten the new hairs and scalp. I sprayed my new hairs every 1 to 3 hours.

Female hair transplant surgery will be the next big thing.

It's the 1-month mark after the hair transplant surgery. I'm happy with the progress and have not had any issues. Tiny hairs are growing and most of the transplanted hairs have fallen out due to "shock loss." I was prepared for the shock loss which happened gradually for me.

The dark patches on my scalp are from a prior scalp micropigmentation (from 11 months prior). I will post again in several months time.
