The Best Experience Possible!!!

WORTH IT
I had my procedure done in September and it was super easy. The hardest part of the procedure is getting the injections to numb the top of your head - but they are no worse than what you have experienced during a visit to your dentist.
The injections were the last thing I remember, because I slept through the rest of the procedure! When it is over, you head home and just relax. I took some of my prescribed pain medication and went back to sleep. There will be some bleeding, but it will mostly be absorbed by your gauze bandages. You will want to use the medical caps and large gauze pads that are provided to protect your bedding.
Over the next 10 days, you will have to care for your grafts and your incision. This again is very simple and step-by-step instructions are provided. Basically, you will have to apply Bacitracin to your incision and wash your hair using a cup with some baby shampoo. Very easy. Your day-to-day life will not change much - basically you will not be able to work out during these 10 days. There will be some minor swelling of your scalp, so you will also have to be mindful to keep your head elevated to avoid additional swelling. After 10 days, you can resume your normal activities.
Two weeks after your procedure, you will have your stitches removed. The scar that is left is very minor. I keep my hair short on the back and sides, and it is not visible. After it is fully healed, it is difficult to find, even if you use a comb to move the hair away. You will not be able to feel it either (it will not be raised).
I couldn't be happier with the procedure or the results. Dr. Anderson and his staff are amazing! They contacted me throughout the process and made sure that any of my questions were answered prior to the procedure. After the procedure, they would also call to see how I was doing and track my progress. You can tell that Dr. Anderson truly enjoys his work. He is thoroughly knowledgeable in hair restoration and is a master of his craft, as is his staff. They all strive to make their patients 100% satisfied and happy. If you are thinking about having this procedure, call Dr. Anderson. He will provide the best experience and results!
