I Am Enjoying the Fast Growth
WORTH IT
As a barber, I was on the fence about getting a beard transplant. On the one hand, I envied men who could grow a full beard because mine had patchy growth that was not quite what I wanted.
I knew a lot about hair and could spot a bad beard transplant from a mile away. As such, I was very picky about who got to work on my beard because I did not want to end up with unnatural graft angles. I must have spent hours looking at Heva’s success stories before I even booked a consultation with them. And it took me another few months before I mustered the courage to book my session with them. I liked that I was not just hurried to the operating room and that my surgeon sat with me to design the angle of my hairs and the final look. The final flow matched what I had in mind and arguably looked a bit better because of his expertise. Then, we went into the operating room. My surgeon took 2,400 grafts from the nape of my neck to fill in the missing connection between my cheeks and my chin because I had told him that I wanted a low fade transition from my sideburns to the beard.
Currently, I am about to hit the 6-month mark and given how much denser and fuller my beard looks, I know that I will be able to get a fade in the next 6 months. In the meantime, I am enjoying the fast growth and nurturing it to ensure that this beard lasts me a lifetime and earns me even more clients in my shop!
