After reading about Heva’s expertise in challenging cases, I figured that it would not hurt to give them a call. Besides, I did not have anything to lose by waiting for my progressive male pattern baldness to get worse. Their booking process was okay and my medical coordinator, Bryan, made it faster with all the help he offered me. I was in contact with him and the surgeon during the entire planning phase, and I also worked with them on coming up with a custom package for my hair transplant. Once everything was set up, I spent 4 days in Istanbul and when I was not in the clinic, I was staying at a nice partner hotel whose room had a recliner chair, which proved perfect for the healing phase when swelling was a risk – apparently, this is very common after hair transplants. This was my first ever surgery in all my forty years and it was not daunting at all because the team knew exactly what they were doing and were explaining the steps to me. After the procedure, I went to the hotel where they had my meal ready and I was able to stay indoors for the next day. I went to the clinic on day 2 for my first specialized wash and once they had checked me over and given me the all clear, I was able to fly back home with a care kit and instructions on what to do. By month 4, I already had new growth and as I enter month 5, I am excited to see how my hairline changes. I have seen other people’s before and after pictures and know that if I keep following the aftercare instructions, I will also be celebrating my results soon.
