My Beard Density Has Increased So Much

WORTH IT
My reason for getting a beard transplant may not be that relatable. However, if you come from a family where men have full beards, you may get my point. To make matters worse, whenever I tried growing out my beard, it would look patchy. Fast forward to last year, a friend traveled to Turkey and came back not looking different at all at first glance. Then, as the months went on, this guy who could not even grow thick hair on his head now had a beard. I pushed him until he came clean about Heva, and that is when I started looking into their beard transplants. I daydreamed about them, and one day, I decided to just go ahead with the consultation. What is the worst that could happen? Well, I actually ended up in an afro hair transplant masterclass. The surgeon I spoke to taught me about my own hair. He went into extraction angles, how to prevent scarring, growth directions, and a host of other topics, some of which just went above my head. By the end of the consultation, I knew I had to get the transplant, and I talked to my consultant about booking a gold package. In the meantime, I read more about hair transplants, not just on the face but also on the head, and I was interested in learning the differences between afro hair and straight hair in that regard. By the time I met with my surgical team in Istanbul, I thought I knew everything. They then wowed me again with how well they mapped my face, talked about things like matching my curl pattern to my then-beard, and lots of technical details. The mapping process was fun since I work in design and wanted to play a role in that, and they were more than happy to hear my take. In fact, they insisted on it. The rest of it was up to them, though, as I know nothing about extractions and pain management when it comes to the practical side. I lay low for a week because recovery was a bit tough. I could not even eat solid foods for three days, but after that, I was able to travel home and go back to work. It has only been seven months, and my beard density has increased so much that my beard now connects with no patches.
