I Will Be Going Back to HEVA for my Next Transplant

I talked to about 7 hair clinics, some in Turkey, and others right here in the US. Thanks to my wife’s thorough research, I knew what red flags to look out for. So, when some clinics started talking about filling everything in one go, I knew that I was inviting trouble into my life. HEVA pushed back on this idea, and their surgeon even went into detail on things such as donor capacity limits and graft extraction thresholds. That amazed me because the money grab would have been easier. We decided to go with the honest approach, and I was booked in for an FUE hair transplant. My wife traveled with me for support. A part of me thinks she just wanted to go shopping since she spent most of her time buying souvenirs, but she deserves the time off anyway. The surgery itself was much smoother than I expected. I had initially been losing sleep over the potential pain from the procedure, but it turned out there was no reason to lose any hair over it. Other than some pressure when they administered the local anesthesia, I did not feel anything during extraction and implantation. Since my surgery had no complications, we were able to head to the hotel and rest up for a few days before flying back home. By then, I had gotten my first wash, and my wife had been taught how to use the aftercare app to monitor my washes and make notes on my healing process. I still have another transplant scheduled in about a year. But even now, six months in, I am very happy with the work they did. Most of the transplanted hair has grown in and filled in my temples and crown, to the point that my brother also wants to work on his bald head because he now sees what is possible. It is still early days, and I know that in the coming months, the hair density will increase. I will be going back to HEVA for my next transplant as they have proven to me that they care about the future and they are not just in it for a quick sale.
