Hair Transplant Experience at Smile Hair Clinic
About me: I am Behnam 39 yo living in Oslo/Norway. I have PhD in Electronics and working as an ASIC designer. I have got my hair transplant 3 days ago at smile hair clinic.
How I found the clinic: for over 2 years I was checking different clinics on internet and also from people around me. I found out Turkey is the best place and in more than 10 different websites I found that smile hair clinic is one of the bests in Turkey. After daily checking smile hair clinic instagram posts and stories for over 2 months, I decided to contact them.
Pre-operation: from the day I contacted smile hair clinic a case manager guided me through all procedure and answered my questions patiently and professionally. 3 weeks after my first contact I arrived to Istanbul. After that everything went very smoothly. I was picked up from airport and stayed in a nice hotel.
Operation day: The next morning again a driver picked me up and around 7:45 am we arrived at the clinic.
All in the clinic received us with smiles and greated us warmly. After filling some forms and some tests and payments I was in the operation room.
Medical team: I was really happy with my medical team. I did not choose them by myself but I was assigned. Dr Hanna was the main doctor and Dr Azak also visited in between. There were also 3 beautiful lovely girls in the medical team who did the main job. The one who did the incisions etc. was Zeynep. Unfortunately I do not know the other two members name. After consultation which they suggested me to have a good density in front and get a second surgery for the crown area, and cutting my hair the operation started.
Operation: The operation was from probably 8:45 am to 3:15 pm. The graft numbers were 5000-5100. The injection parts were a bit painful (about 5 mins). Other than that, the other parts of the operation were smooth and I didn't feel any pain.
Post-op: After operation they took me to hotel again. I got a bag with medications, shampoo, lotion, cream, hat etc. in it. The next day we went to clinic again and got first wash, some presentations regarding how to wash, how to take care of hair etc, we said goodbye and driver took us to airport and left the Istanbul. For my case from arriving to Istanbul to leaving it was less than 48 hours. The next day (yesterday) I also got contacted from the clinic to send some photos to check if everything is okay.
Overal experience: It was really amazing experience with really good price. I don't think in North Europe you could get such perfect package for less than 10X price.
I really appreciate smile group and specially my medical team and I hope to be still happy after a year when I see the results and my hair.
