29male - canadian - hair restoration in turkey - success!!

(29M) from Canada! Just looking to share my experience with FUE Hair Restoration! In February 2020, right before the COVID 19 Lock down (thank gosh!), I was able to take a month off of work and head to Turkey for Hair Restoration. However, it wasn't as simple as ,"oh let's just go to Turkey!". I actually had a consultation with a leading Hair Restoration company called "HASSON and WONG" in Canada. But I could not justify paying $15,000 when I could pay €1,200 plus flight (all in around $4,500 CAD).

Anyways, I booked the flight a few months in advance and decided to do it. I also did a ton (and I mean a ton of research), before choosing the clinic. To make sure I do not advertise just message me privately and I can tell you the clinic name.

Anyways, the process was honestly smoother than I could have imagined. I had a private driver pick me up at "Istanbul Ataturk Airport", which is massive. Before leaving Canada though, I was given the Whatsapp contact for the driver picking me up. When at the airport, he texted me a map of where to meet him, and he was standing right there. We then drove to my hotel where he helped check me in. His English was also very good which made it a good drive.

Anyways, I was there purely for the FUE Hair Transplant surgery and had a schedule of:

1.) Arrive Friday night
2.) Wake up in the morning go to the clinic on Saturday for Surgery
3.) Get Procedure done, get check up with doctor
4.) Wake up Sunday and go
5.) Back home on Monday

So this is what I did. Besides the sleeping with a airline pillow wrapped around my head, the procedure of around 4.5 hours was great. I even stopped half way through, had a meal, and got back to it.

RESULTS:

Attached are my photos and I am happy to answer any questions! I will say that, I am super pumped about the results, and this is probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. It took me almost 3-4 years to think about doing this, I am happy that I finally did it! For anyone thinking about it, just do it, stop thinking, it will be the best thing you ever did.

I do know of horror stories of international hair restoration gone bad, so you need to do your research. I will say again, message me if interested and I will give you the details of my clinic.

Here are some photos of before, during, and now 5x months post op. I should note that it will take about a year for the full effects of my hair restoration. It still looks great already though!

PS: Don't mind the bathroom shots lol
