Incredible Revision Procedure, Amazing Doctor, and Absolutely Top Notch Staff

My revision surgery experience with Dr. Economides and the staff at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center has been nothing short of amazing. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot after having bad experiences with two previous plastic surgeries as well as with plastic surgeons’ offices in general. First off, the staff at other plastic surgery practices I’ve been to has mostly consisted of gaggles of inauthentic, overly friendly barbie dolls with robotic personalities, all of whom seem to do little more than hand out price estimate folders. The staff at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center were the complete opposite, and genuinely made me feel welcome from the beginning.
At my consultation, Alycia immediately made me feel comfortable with her great sense of humor, warm personality, and excellent folder handing out abilities. Gianna was always incredibly kind and is a very skilled nurse, which made me feel like I was in good hands at every appointment. I was also blown away by how friendly, laid back, and humble Dr. Economides was. Sadly, this is a rare combination of traits for a surgeon of any specialty, especially plastics.
Unlike the previous plastic surgeons I saw, Dr. Economides made an effort to fully understand what my desired outcome was, and made me feel like my input mattered. By combining his surgical expertise with actual knowledge of my goal, he was able to achieve my desired result when other surgeons couldn’t. I can honestly say that Dr. Economides is not only the best plastic surgeon, but best doctor of any specialty that I’ve ever been under the care of.
What ultimately set this practice apart for me was everyone's willingness to go the extra mile for patients. I saw this firsthand when I experienced a post-op complication (due to my plethora of other medical issues) while Dr. Economides happened to be out of the area. Within minutes of calling the office, Alycia and Gianna arranged for Dr. Munasafi to see me later that day. After treating me, Dr. Munasafi went out of his way to ensure I got a same-day appointment with a specialist at VHC. As soon as Dr. Economides returned, Brittany called multiple hospitals and surgery centers to find an open OR slot. The entire time, Dr. Economides constantly checked on me, and directly answered any concerns I had no matter the time of day. Finally, Alycia went completely above and beyond for me more times than I can count throughout this whole ordeal. She truly exemplifies what all “patient care” coordinators should strive to be.
If I ever need/want another procedure, I would not for a second consider going anywhere else. Dr. Economides, Alycia, and the rest of the team at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center are far and away the best plastic surgery practice in the area, and it isn’t close.
