Puffiness After Gyno-surgery
I went through a gyno-surgery 6th of September last year. Now, 8 months after I recognize that I still experience puffy nipples which are visible through shirts.
My surgeon unfortunately passed away so I did not have any possibility to do a re-visit but I did a re-visit with a surgeon through another clinic. He argued that my surgery was successfull and that there was no more gland needed to be removed. However he was not able to explain why I continously had puffy nipples.
My areolas have not shrunken and I can still se "white surroundings around my areolas". Both are things I believed (from my own research) would change after having a successfull surgery.
I now turn to you guys hoping to get a better understanding of why my problem haven't been resolved. My questions are basically:
1. Shouldn't the areolas become smaller if all gland is removed?
2. What about the "white surroundings" around the areolas, is that remaining gland or could it be "the emptyness" left where gland previously were?
3. What do you guys think is the reason for me still experiencing these puffy nipples if the gland truly is removed as my surgeons claims? Could it be related to any scar tissue?
Thanks in advance, I hope someone is able to guide me through this ongoing psychological misery.
