Incredible Gynecomastia Surgeon Even for Revision

I want to write the review that I would have wanted to read prior to having surgery to help answer questions and give a clear picture of what to expect from the surgeon being reviewed. Honest reviews are so helpful and I hope this helps you if you are considering gynecomastia surgery. When researching gynecomastia surgeons, the process is extremely daunting. Many questions come to mind including surgeon experience, expertise in performing the procedure, i.e. glandular excision when necessary, does the surgeon have proven results, location, cost, sedation types, recovery time and procedures, and the list goes on. You will read about how crucial it is to pick the right surgeon, especially for a revision, to a point where you don't think anyone will do the job correctly. Of course you don't want to have another botched surgery, so what do you do? It took me years to finally consult with someone after having my initial surgery performed by another surgeon with liposuction alone despite being under the assumption that glandular excision would also be performed. So, now stuck with remaining glandular tissue, I knew a revision would be needed. After seeing Dr. Magge perform several gynecomastia glandular excisions of all types actually via clips on instagram, it was enough to know that he understood glandular excision well and I knew I had to make the leap to consult with him. His page has many examples of gynecomastia surgery, so he is not just saying he does them, he shows you actual proof in the operating room which was comforting. Many other surgeon websites claim to perform gynecomastia, but if you check social media and otherwise, they may not focus on gynecomastia much making it feel as though while they do the surgery it is not done regularly or with high importance to the surgeon. I wanted someone who showed a genuine interest in this procedure as Dr. Magge did. Dr. Magge assured me upon consultation that revision would not be too complex for him to perform and I scheduled surgery soon after. The surgery itself went very well under local anaesthesia and sedation which I was happy to have over general anesthesia which I didn't feel was warranted. He also said he just finished a gynecomastia surgery prior to mine and had two more the following day, so if I was concerned about his experience, I could eliminate that thought. He does very many of these surgeries and with gynecomastia, in my opinion, experience counts. He removed the glandular tissue along with some general liposuction. I did have drains which I was concerned about having, but they were not terrible and likely helped me to have minimal swelling after surgery and sped up the healing process. I know some surgeons don't use them, but truthfully you'll be ok. They were taken out within three days, but I know this can be different for everyone. My scars are impossible to see and even I have a hard time seeing them when I am looking for them. My symmetry is perfect. I have no complaints. And the cost was extremely reasonable after knowing quotes from other surgeons. To me, it was a perfect experience and exactly what I wanted and expected from my surgery and surgeon every step of the way.
