Vanity Cosmetic Surgery Hospital review
This is my honest and personal experience review of Vanity Cosmetic Surgery Hospital in Istanbul Turkey. In this review, I will be detailing my entire experience from start to finish. I’m gonna be very thorough with everybody. I communicated from a booking agent to the receptionist to a Doctor and aftercare, to the final process. Hopefully, this review can shed some light and help someone make an informed decision as I found this to be a very useful clinic and actually to be a lot safer than online giving. Now when coming across the clinic while doing some research online I found that most of them are pretty much the same and how they recruit their clients and put out their information so when I came across this clinic, I felt pretty ok with them, so I filled out their information form and they would have someone contact you via WhatsApp, this is the most convenient way to be completely honest and best way to communicate with them, which other ways I find to be even more complicated so if you don’t have WhatsApp, I would say set it up. It’s very easy so that they can contact you.
During the Booking process, I was contacted by, Zeynap's patient coordinator, She was very nice and polite and provided the information and the details we talked briefly, gathered some basic information and then had to let her know that I would contact her in a couple of months to book which I ended up doing in October 2024 and we first spoke January 2024. I find this is important to mention as she did contact me in September to follow up as most places would just forget about you after several months. Now because of the time zone, I did find the communication on ?WhatsApp a little bit lacking. They do take a little bit of time to respond, but it’s not horrible but closer to the process they are more consistent. I did have a mixup at the airport because of it, but that’s also more on my end as well as I had an issue with another clinic that was trying to scam me. She was very efficient with providing the process and also providing the link. There is a deposit that needs to be paid for the procedure. Please make sure your bank is aware that you are making the payment to a foreign country in Istanbul as even if it’s legit, they will block it I did have issues and I had to call a couple of times and stay with them on the phone so they could release the funds. Apart from that she was very great and responsive and also with that little mixup, she was very good at helping me clear it up and helping me get to the appropriate location. I would give her services a 4.5 stars.
As promised, I was booked in a luxury hotel for the duration of my stay which covered the full cost of breakfast. The only thing that I had to cover was the cost of my food. The hotel was very clean, the services were very upscale I would say it was a 5-star hotel with full services although I couldn’t use some of them because of surgery, It was very nice to know that I did have options.
Vanity Clinical procedure process, When arriving at Vanity Clinical was passed off to Gizem the clinical dietician and coordinator, she was very polite and understanding. She also was very aware of my current state of mind and saw that I was a bit nervous. She was very good and attentive. Put my mind at ease providing all the information, what to expect the bloodwork, the test that needed to be done, and the meeting with the doctor. Where we would go through the entire procedure and what to expect that day. She was clear when going through the paperwork and payment process which was cash USD or a major credit, as well as connecting me with the pharmacy to get all my medication and even an extra medication to bring home with me for the recovery process. She also made sure she was available after the procedure and the whole time that I was there through WhatsApp where I was able to communicate with her. She was very efficient with answering all my questions and my concerns which there weren’t many, to be honest. Honestly, I would rate her services 4.8 stars.
Doctor Semih, when I met him seemed very informed and very knowledgeable and because I have a bit of a health background I was able to pick up that he knew exactly what he was talking about. I had done a lot of research on this procedure and had sat with a few different doctors in the Dominican Republic about it. He was able to detail all that was needed, and because I had some knowledge I could see that he already knew what he was doing. He was able to honestly detail what to expect and the complications, what risks were involved, and that because I was a specific case may be a high risk because of my profession. He was honest about it, he was able to detail the procedure and how he would do it, and would go about it even after reviewing aftercare, and also paying attention to how my body’s been healing in the area, I can see he did exactly what he told me he was going to do. Which makes me very happy. He was very efficient with his methods, and even afterwards our follow-up appointment the day before I left was very good. He was very happy with the results, I was as well. It was already healing very well. After just 2 days honestly, I would give Doctor Semih a 4.9 Stars. The services provided were very good and I had no complications. I’m at week 4 of recovery entering week 5 and it seems like everything is going well. Some early stages of recovery which we expected would be a bit longer so this is very good thank you very much. Doctor Semih.
Post Post-operation Care Nurses
I want to take some time to talk about the nurses that were there on the 3rd floor. They were very detailed and very accommodating. They paid attention to what they were doing and they were very consistent from start to finish. All 3 nurses provided the same level of professional service, and accommodation as well as amazing care with changing the bandages and wound care, and getting me to the washroom. Paying attention to how I was reacting as I was very nervous. They were good at letting me know that I was fine and nothing was going to happen. I appreciate that. Overall, my experience with this clinic was amazing as I was scared of going to a foreign country to do something very important to me. It is very good to know that there are places like this that do exist especially when I’m in a place where I should be providing the best level of healthcare, but I have to pay extraordinary costs for no particular reason so it’s good to know their places like this that can accommodate people in the safe space.
