Elated at the fact that I can now put this issue behind me

For years, since a child, I struggled with gynecomastia. Embarrasing. While going through puberty in my teens, physicians predicted that it would go away with time--sometime before entering adult hood. Never happened. Years later, I finally decided to get surgery.

Asking around, I was referred to the plastic surgeon professional, Dr. Arturo Muñoz Mesa who, I was told, has experience in the field relating to gynecomastia.

At first I was very nervous but I found Dr. Mesa to be very pleasant, kind, straightforward but most of all understanding of the social intricacies that someone with this problem could possibly endure. He guided me through the steps of the surgery and what to realistically expect after. His confidence, artistic vision and years of dedication to his craft left me feeling at ease.

The office team, especially Consuelo Juarez, were extremely helpful and comforting as well. They were nice, and supportive through the entire process and I was very much pleased.

Post surgery I was elated at the fact that I can now put this issue behind me. A bothersome predicament troubling me for so long that can now be put to rest. I am forever grateful. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. Also worth mentioning is that this same procedure would've cost 4-5 times the amount where I live in California.

If there is anyone who suffers from gynecomastia I definitely recommend Dr Mesa!
