About a year ago, I called the Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery Center to inquire about their liposuction procedure. I was at a point in my life where I was feeling motivated to get into shape and improve my general self-image. At the time, I wasn't given the option of a procedure, because I was still too heavy: the girl on the phone explained to me that liposuction is NOT a weight loss program, but more of a "body contouring" option. I was a little discouraged, but they were actually very nice, and honestly it was what I needed to hear. And it motivated me to continue going to the gym and working on myself. I called back just a few months ago, after I had lost ~50lbs, and was so happy to hear that I was finally a candidate for lipo!
I underwent surgery the first week of June, and although I still experience some tenderness around the incision, I was STEADFAST about my post-operative diet and instructions, and I'm just overall VERY happy with my results!!! I was nervous that this procedure just wouldn't be the boost of confidence I needed, and was a little freaked out the first week after surgery, but I am SO GLAD I DID THIS NOW! I LOVE the way I look (even though the incision is still healing, it looks MUCH better), and this only helps re-instill me with the confidence I need to continue working out and improving myself! Dr. Wyble was wonderful and very knowledgeable, and always spends time with me and answers all of my questions. The girls in the office are all very sweet, and remember my name every time I come in! (I'm sure they must be sick of seeing me now!!)
If you stick to the surgery guidelines, there shouldn't be a problem. I will be coming back to see Dr. Wyble very soon for botox and lip fillers! VERY HAPPY and thank you so much, Dr. Wyble and staff! :):):)
