I had my procedure done in June and have so much to fill you guys on. Let’s start with meeting Dr. Arenas for the first time; first off ladies that are traveling out of the country & are a little nervous because they don’t speak the language, I want you to know that the Dr. Arenas is bilingual. That is a major plus! Dr. Arenas has a great way to make you feel comfortable; he listens to your requests and will also make suggestions that will work for you. He thoroughly explained the procedure, and answered all my questions. One thing I’ve heard people on RS mention is that they don’t have enough pictures on their website. During my consultation Dr. Arenas showed me a picture of a patient with my similar body frame and that chose the same procedure as I did so I could see her results, this was great as I was able to envision what my possible end result could be. Let me tell you that Dr. Arenas really has “The Dream Team”, Liz his lovely assistant is the sweetest person, even on her busiest day she made me feel like a priority. To this day she reaches out to check on my progress. Dr. Marco the anesthesiologist is amazing, right before my surgery he came to see me and said “I’ll take care of you as if you were my daughter.” He sure lived up to his word. Veronica Luna is the nurse that took care of me the night after my surgery; they keep you there overnight to monitor you. Veronica is amazing; she has the kindest heart and is so patient. Vero came to my hotel to help with my lymphatic drainage massages and to help me shower. (Ask for her card at the hospital if you need her to come to your hotel.) The hospital is very modern, clean and their cafeteria food is amazing. Their Spa is conveniently located on the bottom floor and they offer the ultrasound massages there along with other services, the staff there was also very friendly and professional. Now onto lodging and transportation, we stayed in the Expo Area of Guadalajara which is a very nice area they have everything! We stayed at Hotel Victoria Ejecutivo the first week and then at RIU across the street the rest of the time. We used Uber for our transportation and had no problems whatsoever. Both of the hotels were very accommodating, Hotel Victoria has free breakfast and they would let me bring my breakfast to my room given my condition. Their laundry dept. also dried my faja for me every day. Riu was also very nice, just a little higher end. One thing you need to keep in mind if you have this procedure done is that the recovery is no joke and you need to take care of yourself and follow the Dr.’s orders to a T. Vero was very surprised at my pain tolerance as I was able to sit for the full time she did the lymphatic drainage, it is so painful just be aware and make sure you’re drinking Gatorade/Powerade through it, don’t feel afraid to let them know when you need a break but do let them finish their job. You will only end up hurting your results if you don’t let them fully drain you. Another thing I cannot emphasize enough is that you need to TRUST THE PROCESS and allow your body to heal. I was worried about a couple lumps but the swelling is no joke it takes time for it to go down and you need to beware of that. I am so happy with my results and I will never see another plastic surgeon, Dr. Arenas gained a loyal patient. He is amazing at what he does! I will be posting pics. soon.

I am anxiously awaiting for my proceedure date but in the mean time, Dr. arenas and his assistant have been so helpful. Although their offices are out of the country they are always available for questions through e-mail and Whatsapp. We have been in constant communication about my expectations and all the steps I need to follow to prepare for the surgery.
