Hi everyone. It's been a minute, but I'm in slow mode. I was wondering if any of you ladies was standing straight at 3wks. I'm about 95% upright.

I'm 8dpo and beginning to stand up straight, it's not easy but have to push. My back is killing me as well that's why I have to stand straight. To much straining. Good luck

I was straight each day too but then now a bit hunched when the contractions take over if you have major MR. I can turn the faucets in the shower off easier since they are low...

Hey dolls, I'm still struggling with standing straight. Whenever I try to stand up completely straight it feels as if something is pulling or burning so I hunch back over. Amy of you having this problem?

Feeling Emotional

Hi Everyone, I'm so ready to get back to being 100%. I've been in my feelings today, not myself at all. I don't think I'm healing fast enough. Everything seems to be in slow mode. My mom is here with me everyday, but I'm bored out of my mind. I'm ready to return back to my day to day living. My hubby and my son have been bending over backwards to assure that everything is in order. My baby girl tried to help me the very first day I was home. My hubby ran out to get some things from the store and my mom was enroute to our home. I needed help to the bathroom and hep getting back in bed, well my gown opened up while I was getting back on the bed and she saw the drain tubes. Let's just say she got me on the bed, I felt sick, asked for the trashcan, looked down and she was puking. My baby tried and by this time my son, my hubby and my mother all arrived. Thank God!! This is the one that wants to be a nurse. So now she comes to the door after school and asks "mom are you okay"? I'll take that. She doesn't even want to seem my stomach until I'm completely healed. Well I guess I'll continue to sit i this chair and watch tv.

You will soon be passed the initial recovery. Up and around and feeling so much better. I look forward to your new pictures. I have a similar abdominal situation after 3 C-sections. God bless.

My hubby passed out when he saw me after my laser face surgery saw I awoke to them rescuing him. Oxygen and code being called and fusses fuss fuss, and I was the patient!!! And I am a first responder (well until I got my chronic illness). We laugh about it now but my daughter who works in teen hospice (used to work with the homeless, John Hopkins trained) faints when she sees her own blood. She had to give it each month due to a fam blood problem. But she is the best nurse ever, it was just so personal. Thank goodness for something you may laugh about one day. Sounds like a comedy was happening. PS I usually vomit if someone vomits so I have up chucked in my mouth while saving people, usually have to spit and get back to work. Reality beats anything in the movies! Best to you and all those that love you dearly.

Drains and Stitches Removed

Hi Everyone, I'm so glad that my PS removed my drains and stitches today. Now the itching is about to drive me crazy. The numbness in my stomach is weird. I'm so glad to be on the flatside and I'm 75% upright. My poor little back is worn out. Pics coming soon.

Itching is healing, distract yourself with music, TV, anything, and imagine the cels are dancing to heal. Cover your hands with socks if you like to itch. Once you start to itch, you cannot stop. One RR sister said to itch the outside of your CG but do not press or touch skin. Helped me a bit
