One of the most painful things I've ever gone through, including childbirth.
Ice packs, sleepless nights, swollen abdomen are just a few of issues.I won't be returning for round two. All I can think about is getting back in the gym, and that says a lot I hate workg out. Out of work 6 days so far

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Have you contacted your provider with your concerns? You may also want to check out this forum of others' experiences with the pain. Please let us know how you're doing.

I did not have much pain at all. I was a little sore for a day or so, as if I did a bunch of sit ups. After that, itching and numbness is all. I would do it again. It has only been three weeks so will wait to make sure it works.

I hope you are doing a lot better. I had considered having this procedure done recently---went to interview a surgeon back in June , and I can tell you, they don't mention the pain until you get there. I also saw another surgeon on July 8th and he won't even use this in his practice. He is concerned with long term effects of nerve damage after having this done. Some folks who've had it done do quite as I have read on this site but I don't think the shrinking effects are as good as regular lipo. Just my opinion and hope you continue to do well.

Hey Candygirl7, I think that you are right. I really didn't consider any of this beforehand, shame on me. All I know is that I won't be getting anymore treatments. It was aweful.

I am so sorry you have endured this. You know, the surgeon I went to for the CS interview had a TV special on it . He states, no downtime, you can go out and play golf etc. After reading all the responses on this site , I found it to by quite scary. I realize too, that lipo is not a pain free event but your nerves are being frozen with CS. Is this dangerous, who knows? There is inherent risk in all these procedures, you just have to do your research.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I only wish having my children was this easy and comparatively pain free, but I know it varies for people. The initial suction was a bit alarming, but not that bad and went off after five minutes. I had nerve pains which were unpleasant but not agonising and my stomach was swollen and tender for a couple of weeks, and still a bit numb for at least three weeks. Unfortunately it did not work on me and was a total waste of money and I'm really angry about it. I had two areas done, one each side of my navel. It cost me £1,600 in the UK at a London clinic. I hope things continue to improve and that you get good results.
