Great Results from my Breast Lift
Growing up I was a DD cup, during both of my pregnancies and while nursing my breasts were and E/F. After breast feeding everything seemed to get back to normal except for my boobs. I was still a DD but not because of tissue, it was because of skin. I explained it to people as a boob accordion. D F D F D.... my skin just couldn't bounce back. Clothes, swimsuits, bras didn't fit right and it was taking a toll on my confidence. How I looked physically didn't match how I felt emotionally, and every time I looked in the mirror, the knot in my stomach grew a little more.
Dr. Lien was the only consult I did. I called a couple places, but I was happy with his price and his confidence and casual attitude toward the whole thing. I didn't feel pushed, he gave me the information and I went home and processed my options. I did a second consult to go back for the questions I had. I was stuck between a lift and a reduction w/ a lift. My ideal size being a C and also being 5/9, 145lbs, I didn't want to be too small. Boobs had been a part of my identity for so long that not having much there at all I wouldn't have felt like myself.
He felt confident my ideal results would be reached through a lift only, so I felt confident. Surgery went great (I don't remember it so I call that great), and recover was easier than I expected. I had people setup to help me but I ended up being able to do a lot for myself, and only needed Tylenol and IBUprofin a couple days after surgery for pain and inflammation.
The scarring continues to improve, I still have slight bruising but that also is minimal. I am currently 6months post op and couldn't be happier. I don't think I could really see the end result until about month 4 as scarring, and bruising improved, and tissue settled.
Very happy customer. I don't plan for anymore surgery but should I need it I will look forward to seeing Dr. Lien and his staff again!
I should add I had 1 syringe of Juvederm injected in my lips and was also very happy with that. I plan to do that annually as it just gives me a little more definition while still giving me a natural look.
With my lips and my breasts Dr. Lien really listened to what I was hoping to get out of these procedures. I don't wear make-up, I am a pretty modest person I would say... my greatest concern was that people would look at me and think "she had work done"... my results are quite the opposite. I am very happy.
